Operation Medical is an organization of volunteers made up of trained medical professionals and other individuals committed to promoting and providing high quality medical care and education to communities that do not have adequate access to medical care. The volunteers who are part of our team have provided charitable healthcare across the globe for over 51 years and in more than 57 locations.

Operation Medical's vision is to become recognized as a leading organization in Central Pennsylvania for supporting a strong and varied network of healthcare providers and other individuals dedicated to providing medical care and supplies to individuals for whom such care is problematic.We do not have boundaries to the types of medical services we are willing to provide or places we will travel.

Conducting medical trips is expensive. Funds are needed to purchase, store and transport medical supplies, equipment and pharmaceuticals. Thank you for your help and support. If your company has a matching gift policy, you might want to check with your Human Resource Department and encourage them to match your Operation Medical donation.
We always need help in assessing, acquiring and stocking our inventory of supplies in preparation for upcoming missions, as well as preparation for the packing and shipping of supplies the week prior to the start of a mission. Operation Medical always needs doctors, nurses, technicians and volunteers to make each mission trip a success.
Many folks on the team were in Khambhat in 2013 and it. The saying, "Third Time's a Charm" could not resonate more clearly as this. With the COVID-19 pandemic, I felt an urge to volunteer and stumbled across this amazing organization. Everyone respects social distancing and wears face masks. While volunteering in the sort room, we used gloves and had extra space to not be in contact with others. If you are wanting to help underserved communities, this is the place to be! On top of following all Harris country guidelines, all staff members are really lovely.
