Travis Prior founded Priors Tires in 2018. After over 25 years at Lloyd's Tire & Auto Care in Santa Cruz and a total of 32 years in the tire business, Travis has created a top rate commercial tire business. Travis has been in the tire industry 34 years.

I met Travis about ten years ago when he was working at Lloyd's. I think that we were one of his first customers when he opened Priors, and we have been very happy to continue working with him and his team! What I really appreciate about Travis is that he tells me right up front what he can and can't do for our vehicles and lets me know where I can get it done if it's something he doesn't do.

Couldn't find anyone to help me with changing a small Kubota tractor tire. Most shops couldn't be bothered, said it would take a day to get in line and some just wouldn't do it - not even the local Tractor dealer. Then Lloyd's referred me to Prior's. Dropped in at 8:15 - was treated with Brandon and Travis taking the wheel and tire from me, said it will be 5 minutes and would I like some coffee, water or something to eat while I waited". Most polite awesome professional work. Not a scratch on my rim. Price was so good I gave them a tip to buy doughnuts for the gang.

Best tire repair shop in town, hands down. I reached out to them on Facebook with a questions and they responded quickly. Moreover, they had the expertise to fix my self-sealing Chevy Bolt tire, unlike most shops. Brandon, Travis, and the rest of the crew were really friendly and got me on the road in no-time. If you have a tire problem, go to Prior's tires.

It was just a puncture repair, but these guys did the most professional, superior job I've ever seen and were super-nice about it. Inexpensive too. A lot of shops only want to sell you another tire, but Priors was happy to do the repair and never even brought it up. Not only that, but they put my spare back under the truck for me. I would definitely go back.

Sometimes you can just tell that a business is a good one and here you have it. This is my new go-to place for tires in Santa Cruz, California. Really loving the tires they put on my Ford f150. WAY BETTER than anything else I've gotten for a competitive price. These guys were friendly and efficient every time I have had service done here and they were very fast. The Garage is located in an easy access part of town. You can wait in their very comfortable waiting room that has great snacks if you want to.

You never want to be in a position to have to change a flat tire but the hospitality and friendliness here makes me look forward to the next time I have tire issues. Amazing fast and friendly service. Originally went to a big chain tire repair shop and was told it would be a 2/3 hour wait time. Came in here and was assisted the moment I came in. It's all about timing ! Thank you to the receptionist who welcomed us in and spoke to us while we got our flat fixed we honestly could've stayed longer to chat!

AMAZING! These guys rescued my 10 years old Toyota Yaris! I took it in just for new tires but they identified a problem that was causing it to be EXTREMELY loud for the last few years.
I had been doing maintenance at the Toyota dealership and later at the local mechanic and they did not see anything wrong with it, so I assumed it was just old and "shaky" and there was nothing that could be done (It was so loud I couldn't even listen to the radio!) Priors Tires fixed it and my poor old Yaris drives quietly and smoothly like new!!!! Super fast and reasonably priced too! Highly recommend

This is long overdue, but Travis and his team are detailed, service oriented and a good deal. I had a flat (not really or so I was to find out). After putting the spare on and driving over, Travis said he'd repair it - everything as normal.
When I returned he was visibly annoyed, and walked me over to my truck. Apparently when I had gotten brand new tires 6 months before, they hadn't checked to see if rust was preventing a good seal on the wheel. He told me that any shop worth its salt would check and grind that down before installing a new tire. He didn't need to pitch or replace

Very happy with pryers tires! I had a flat tire at 4:30pm and gave them a call explaining my situation, they close at 5 pm but said they would stay open so they could help me. I put on my spare and drove to them and after they looked at my tires they found that my other tire was about to blow as well. They had a great attitude and gave me a fair price as well. Definitely the best experience ive had at a tire shop and i could tell they appreciate their customers.

My cousin recommended this place to me, and I am glad I decided to go there. I needed a tire patched. I cannot say enough about the experience I had with Priors Tires. Travis and his crew were consummate professionals in the automotive tire repair and installation business. I own classic European / American automobiles and will only have Travis and his crew work on my vehicles. I'm more concerned with the level of service and attention to detail. Wow, where do I start? Some of my car-guy buddies turned me onto Prior's and I'm forever indebted. Priors set me up with tires on some newly-powder coated rims -- a challenge not to chip or damage -- and delivered them beautifully mounted and balanced. They jumped on the job right away and the price was really reasonable, but the real thing for me was the care and craftsmanship. Travis is a super nice guy to work with, I can certainly see why his little shop is growing rapidly.

I stopped by couples of tire shop before I found this hidden gem of a tire shop. The two guys working here is very experienced and knows what they were doing. I’m a car enthusiast and never have I seen other tire shop patch up a hole like these guys. Other places charge $30 just to plug or patch a hole. This place actually sanded down the place where the hole was and applied applicator. I felt the professionalism of their work. Very polite and great customer service I would highly recommended this place to my family and friends.
