Camp Holiday is nestled on the shores of Turtle Lake, offering 12 Cabins, a Seven Bedroom Reunion Home, 40 Campsites with six sites right on the lake, a Secluded Seven Bedroom Private Vacation Home, and a Private Four Bedroom Cabin on Round Lake. Here you'll be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Darrel Mensik started Camp Holiday Campground in the late 50's. Mr. Mensik started with one cabin and 6 wooded sites along the southern shores of the lake. Then one day in 1978 on a late cool September morning, Ann Erickson drove from southern Minnesota looking for a family business to raise her 2 daughters and son, while her husband Harvey, continued to work in the cities during the week.
Camp Holiday offers full hookups, water & electric, primitive tent sites and seasonal sites in a resort with beaches, docks, a game room, WiFi, playgrounds and much more. All Holiday have a 3 or more night minimum and are charged at the Fri-Sat High Season Rate. Deposit for 5 to 7 night stays. All deposits are refundable up to 21 days prior to the 1st day of our reservation, minus $10 cancellation fee.
3 and 4 night stays start or end on a Saturday in cabins and Sunday for Eagle Trail and Northwoods. All cabins have A/C, HD DirecTV, WIFI, and full kitchens. The cabins offer microwaves, coffee pots, pots and pans, dishes, kitchen utensil and bed linens. A starter kit of toilet paper and garbage bags is provided.
I have to say you have the best kept secret as I have come to the Brainerd/Garrison area for years and did not know you were tucked away in a very quiet, beautiful resort. Trust me, I will see anyone coming up that way and needing a place to stay will know about Camp Holiday. We were looking for a place to spend Memorial Day with our daughter (age 22) who had spent a year in Iraq, her boyfriend and our two sons (age 17 and 8).

Really great one! Nice access to the sea, quite, enough toilets and sanitaries, clean, beautiful view from the first line to the sea. Close proximity to the Jelsa city center and marina. You can choose between pebbles or sandy beach. There is also nice playground for the kids. One of the best camping we have been in Croatia.

Family vacation, camping, swimming, fishing. The highlight of the resort is the swimming area with raft and water trampoline. Kids had a blast. Nice small lake for fishing and boating. Good stargazing at night. Friendly staff. The only downside was the size of our campsite #5. Very small and no shelter over the picnic table common to other sites.

All in all very good. Nice staff, great value for the price and awesome landscape. However, there are safety issues as one of the island's main roads is passing through the camp. During our stay there, there was an accident in which a little girl was hit by a car. For kids, the camps nearby might be a better option. An additional thing I personally wasn't fond of is that the cars are parked elsewhere and there is no possibility of parking directly on the parcel (we had a tent parcel). That is, though, due to the hilly terrain of the island.

The more camps i visit, the more i realize how great camp Holiday is! Staff is very friendly, toilets and showers are always super clean, camp ground is nicely divided and illuminated in the night. There is a nice bar with the sea view, WiFi is fast in the whole camp and beach is also very nice. I would definitey recommend staying here!

The whole camp atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. The place was shadowed by pine trees and this was good. The location is very good since it is a walking distance to the next town.
The beach was clean and nice.
The bathrooms and restrooms were clean and in good condition.

The name of the park sounds cheesy but don't let this put you off. They have 26 frontline sea views pitches the showers are immaculate and they have some outside ones which I loved. Great electric coped well with all your needs, great WI-FI. Our pitch was amazing we woke up every morning to a million dollar view. Will definately be back next year, this is definately in my top 10 sites and locations. A short walk to the beautiful port of Jelsa

Have been going here for over 20 years great place to bring kids between the playgrounds, arcade, the beaches with slides and rafts to play on, all the water toys to rent between the kayaks canoes Hydro bikes paddleboats the kids can stay busy all day long. The camp ground is family run and very clean don't forget they have cabins to rent as well! Highly recommend it as a great place to get away for a week or weekend to go enjoy some time up on the lake!
