Dr. Benjamin Howard has been a part of Animal Hospital his entire life. The Hospital was opened by his father, Dr. D.W. Howard, Jr. in 1963. Dr. Howard attended Auburn University where he earned his undergraduate degree and then went on to earn his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He currently lives in Clarksville with his wife and three children.
Dr. Hill is no stranger to Animal Hospital. She began working here in 1997 while earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from Austin Peay State University. Dr. Hill also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from Austin Peay. In 2005 she began attending The University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she received a Master's Degree in Public Health and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2009.

Services
This place is incredible. The staff was so patient and kind even though my dog did not make it easy. My dog has severe vet anxiety, but nobody acted phased by his actions. They were very caring and were able to get all tests done! I am very impressed by everyone working here and appreciate everything they did for my dog.

My dog literally pitches a fit to get out of the car as soon as I pull in the parking lot of animal hospital. That tells me everything I need to know! Amazing customer service and very thorough with explaining things to my understanding! Price is reasonable. Every staff member I have encountered has treated my dog like he was their own!

I called with an emergency and was quite addled. The nurse took my info and gave me immediate help. She even offered places that might aide financially. When taking my pet there they were so quick and when picking her up the vet explained everything. He asked if I had any questions and didn't seem in a hurry. Everyone was so nice and helpful. That's the kind of service that makes me a forever customer and share their great work. I had a great experience.

They were great when we had to put our first pup down. Let everyone say goodbye, Sent a nice card with his ashes which helped the kids. They currently care for our 3 new pups for the last 4 years always professional, helpful, take their time with each one and talk to us about preventative care as well as current care♥️As long as we have pets we will go here!!!

This was one of the best vet experiences we have ever had! We loved how all staff members were friendly and competent, and we really enjoyed Dr. Howard's eagerness to explain things to us. All of the services were also very reasonably priced. We are so happy to have found this practice. Keep up the great work!

I went here because I live 1 mile away. My precious Pepe couldn't stand being in the car very long. He was 13 3/4 years old and had been slowing down several weeks but now he was suffering. I am so glad I went here. The entire staff were caring, kind and made it easier to help Pepe move on. There were plenty of vets and staff, it was clean and roomy. When or if I get another dog this is where we'll be going.
