Exams: Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of a physical examinations every 6-12 months. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help identify and alleviate health problems early. Our wellness programs are designed to ensure your pet has regular exams, diagnostics as indicated by life-stage, and routine vaccines, heartworm testing, and other preventive services as indicated.
Our pets can't speak, they cannot tell us if they feel unwell or have any other indicators of internal illness. We need to examine them every 6 months as well as run routine screening tests to detect underlying disease BEFORE it is clinically apparent. Use the age chart below to find your pets age in "people" years and the screening testing recommended for each stage of his or her life.
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.
Here at Sango Veterinary Hospital, we do a thorough physical exam on your pet before administering anesthetics, to ensure that a fever or other illness won't be a problem. We also adjust the amount and type of anesthetic used depending on the health of your pet. Pre-anesthetic blood testing is important in reducing the risk of anesthesia.

In-Room Appointments allow us to discuss your pets needs face to face and allow us to show you specific areas that may be of concern. Drop-Off appointments give us time to perform any necessary tests for your pet and we can discuss those results in detail over the phone for your convenience or in person later in the day.

Dr. Wert and the staff are amazing. They have been very detailed and worked with me on my dog about preexisting health conditions. They have listened to my concerns and have gone the extra mile for him. We are very thankful for her. Mullet man, Kratos, is a nervous dog in general but they understand and work with him.
The prices are very competitive and affordable for the everyday pet owner too!

I really wish there was a half star because I would have chosen it. So super disappointed with Sango Vet after taking my dog there for 6 months and never having a problem, until today. All I needed was my dogs monthly meds like always, and was told my doctor no longer worked there and the new doctor needed to see my dog for some reason just to get meds that I typically get. But I couldn’t get an appointment until mid December and they refused to give me the November meds, fyi these meds are flea/tick and heart worm. Clearly these people do not care about my dog only the money. Nor do they care

I have utilized this vet clinic on multiple occasions with a high standard for my animals. They have continued to produce a standard of care that I have always been happy with. The quality of work here and professionalism that I have experienced with my animals here has been great. From a price point, they are slightly more expensive than previous vet clinics I have utilized in the past. However, I feel they make up for this with the professionalism and quality of care they give my pets.

As always - love Sango Vet! Everyone listens so carefully to concerns, and provides great information. And so tech savvy! Everything can be done online in their app - making appointments, ordering meds, etc. - which is SUPER-convenient.

They took such great care of my fur baby! The tech take came to the car to get my fur baby was so wonderful and calming since it was our 1st appointment. Everyone is super nice. My dog had ear infection missed by another vet. The prices are very comparable to other vets but it’s the staff that make this clinic top notch. I wouldn’t hesitate to take your fur baby to such a caring clinic.Definitely the best vet office in town.

One of the few vets that sees FERRETS. I drive clear across town just to see this vet. She has taken care of my ferrets, dog and cats. If she does not know something she will admit it and still look for an answer. She has compassion for her patience fur covered and human. She has seen my pets through terminal illnesses and I trust her to tell me when everything has been done that can be done. Now if they would move to my side of town that would be awesome. As for the cost they are on the high end but you get what you pay for and you pay for excellent service and care.
