These people are amazing and try very hard to be modern and work to customers' needs. I dropped off my car, they tested it, and sent me a video!
The work was well done, for a very reasonable price, and were even able to deal with my somewhat testy Mini Cooper S. Completely unexpected, when I got the car back, the interior was cleaned as well.
Not once did I feel put off or pushed aside, there was always someone willing to talk to me and answer my questions -- I'd definitely come back.

Driving on the highway my car started acting funny, hesitating and when I stepped on the gas instead of going faster it was slowing down. 30 minutes from house I thought I’d be able to make it but, I was definitely wrong. I pulled over began to think what to do. I’m new to the area so I had no idea about a mechanic or where to bring my car. The first thing you do is a google search and read the reviews. My first time using J&S Auto Repair was time and money well spent. Rick walked me through the required repairs to the brakes and exhaust and explained everything. With gas prices going up every week, I’ve decided to hold on to my old Corolla a little longer instead of trading it. And now with the repairs done, J&S has made that possible. Carmax actually suggested this business to me and I was pleasantly surprised. They use an app called repairpal, which lets you schedule your appointments online, they send you quotes through the program which you can then approve or deny and they send you your invoice so you can pay online. I was also impressed by the video I received, I brought my car in for an oil change and they sent me a video of their quick safety inspection that pointed out additional work that needed to be done. Communication from them is wonderful and they are very accommodating for drop off and pick up of your vehicle

Wow!! Their customer service is the best I have ever experienced not only in auto repairs but in most other aspects of my life. The car is working great and I couldn't be happier. Before my car was fixed by you guys I was really stressed about keeping my family safe in the car but now I feel 100% confident that my wife and kids can drive safely. The shop also sent me videos of the technician working on the car so that I could see what the problem was before approving each repair. VERY COOL!

The manager, Rick, is very patient, knowledgeable, friendly. I really can't say enough nice things. He communicates in a clear way and truly has the customer's best interest in mind.
I'm not sure of Joe's position, but he was great too and had reached out to make sure that everything was good-to-go.

Without a doubt five stars on the way these guys were fantastic from top to bottom very reasonable high top of their game free estimate fast and quick I had a bad water pump in my 2013 Ford Edge which everybody knows or anybody knows is very expensive not only did they give me the lowest quote but after I got my truck back my radio was fixed many people have tried to fix it but they put it on my dashboard without a blink of an eye I was very happy but again I can't say enough they were excellent I rarely leave reviews but this one was certainly takes precedence highly impressed have already

I had recently bought a BMW that I had issues with right away. I called on a Sunday and Rich called me back Monday first thing. Moved to RI two years ago and been w them since. Went to another shop locally first and didn't have luck w them but these guys -- hands down the nicest and most knowledgeable auto team in New England. They treat everyone so great here. Every customer always leaves happy. They also give me a heads up on the life of certain parts left so I can plan accordingly in the future. I appreciate knowing what expenses are coming.

I brought my car in to recharge the A/C and to get my wheels changed over. As soon as I started the car the A/C still wasn't cold at all. I took it to another shop who refilled the refrigerant and it has been cold ever since. They did a good job with the wheels but I wasn't pleased that the A/C was still warm. I wouldn't trust them with any future repairs/maintenance

Since my previous review I have continued to return to J&S and they are just as good as my first experience! Their new building is nice and right off the highway. They are very courteous and get me in right away, never suggesting or charging for unneeded things. I have worked with Bobby Judge a few times, as well as most recently, and he really makes sure to take care of his clients!

I recommend this shop. I first went here using a Groupon deal a few years back. This was when they were located at the challenging spot close to the Warwick rotunda. Back then, the owner had just opened shop. My deal kept me coming back 3x for an oil change. I was happy with my service and their rates. I would have continued had it not been for the inconvenient location but I certainly have not forgotten this place. I was glad to see they moved to the current Roseland Av location, close to the airport and the 37 and 95 exits. I definitely will go back next time I need a maintenance service.

While traveling to work back in May, the front passenger ball joint failed on my mustang. I promptly called AAA who brought the car to J&S Auto on my request. The repair took a few days (as well as multiple phone calls to get a status) before I was able to pick it up and get back on the road.
Shortly after, I noticed that there was more damage to the car than just the ball joint. When that failed, the wheel well fell onto the tire causing damage to both the wheel well liner and more importantly, the body of the car. The liner now hangs halfway between the original position and the tire itself

This shop was fantasic when my audi A4 starter went without warning leaving me stranded..I walked in to ask about the repair and they were so helpful..they even got the part cheaper than I had found elsewhere..They worked up an estimate and kept it to the penny...they also had my car back when promised...would most definitely recommend this repair shop..honest..efficient..and fair in their pricing...

At the very least I was not impressed with the customer service. I got the run around with varying explanations.
I felt like they were sketchy-
Called numerous times, even went in to get a list of what was supposedly wrong with my car after using a Groupon for an oil change there.

Needed to find a place close to my work. The staff are very friendly. They fit me in for an oil change within a couple hours of me calling. Price was good and seems like great service. I would recommend if you need service or an oil change. Took about one hour. They are moving and are excited about the new space, so I will be back to check that out in the future. Free soda or coffee while waiting.

They forgot to replace the cap back on to my headlight. The only reason I ever even found out was when my dealership service popped the hood and showed the cap just resting there on top of the battery!!
How am I going to pay $45+ for a new headlight and you cannot even double check your work for completion? So for months I was driving around like that with no idea.
Won't be returning nor recommending to others.

Great honest guy. Tells me what I don't need done and gives plenty of options. Good prices. Work is always excellent and on time. Master Nissan certified so knows everything about my truck. Also gave me a military discount. Only shop I go to always clean. And can't beat the price for oil changes.
