Wizard Education has its roots in Arizona EMS going back to the 1980s. At that time, our founders were medical professionals working for EMS Agencies and Hospital Emergency Departments in the Phoenix area. Their dedication to quality patient care led them to become more involved in not just providing patient care, but also helping to develop and grow the EMS system in Arizona and educating medical providers all around the state.
Due to the pandemic, we are now also offering online courses with an in-person skills check to reduce classroom exposure. The American Heart Association ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving Basic -Life support for Healthcare providers skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high quality CPR.
We are pleased to partner with HeartSavers, Inc. to offer a wider range of CPR, First Aid an AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider courses!. Since 1989 we have been providing the greater Phoenix area with quality CPR, First Aid, AED, Article 9 and Bloodborne Pathogen training. Experienced instructors are chosen for their knowledge AND the ability to teach effectively.
CCTS is designed in response to the growing need for qualified specialists in the area of critical care inter-facility transfer. It helps to prepare paramedics and nurses to serve with competence and confidence in meeting the needs of critical care patients undergoing inter-facility transports.
While traditional paramedic education programs teach essential skills and provide a knowledge base for the management of patients in the pre-hospital setting, these training programs frequently do not teach the skills and knowledge necessary to manage critical patients between hospitals, specialty referral centers, and extended care facilities.

The Basic ECG classes are designed for the person with no ECG experience and those preparing for ACLS and PALS courses. This course introduces healthcare providers to normal cardiac rhythms and prepares them to recognize basic cardiac arrhythmias in clinical practice.
From the course, healthcare providers improve their skill in ECG rhythm recognition, which is a key skill required to successfully determine a patient's condition, know which algorithm to apply, and provide better patient treatment.The 12 Lead ECG course reviews anatomy and physiology of the cardiac system.

I have been going to Wizard to renew my ACLS & BLS certs for years. I am an instructor as well so I know what a good class is and Wizard rocks! I have received their training both in the Hospital where I work as a RN and at their Peoria site. Always a good time and ALWAYS excellent classes! Thanks Wizard! See you next year... :-)

I did my first paramedic refresher with Wizard Education and can't imagine going anywhere else in the future. Fred and his staff are extremely knowledgable and make the refresher process enjoyable. They offer a 6 day refresher course that provides you with your 48 core CEs and they renew all your certifications too. Great program and wonderful staff that can't be beat.

I went here to get my PALs certification. I really liked it. It was close to home. The people were all very friendly and knowledgable. The information was presented clearly. It was a great experience. It feels great to know that i have more knowledge to save children's lives.
Oh one of the best was they had free snacks for us like chips and cracker jacks. Bonus!
