Thanks Kelly for spending time fitting wetsuits. She's very knowledgeable and patient. Never once, I felt pressured. You can tell diving is her true passion and willing to help.
The dive shop is very well maintained, clean and organized. It's stocked with well known brands and prices are competitive.

I called Seas the Day Scuba about a week and a half before traveling to Bali for my honeymoon because I wanted to get certified to dive. Casey was so accommodating and made sure I had completed everything by the time I left. He also helped me pick out all my supplies/gear that I didn't have. The entire experience was great. Casey made me feel safe in the ocean doing boat dives and shore dives. All of the people who work at Seas the Day Scuba are kind and welcoming. Definitely would recommend!

My standards for customer service is insane after working for Disney many years and surprisingly they've surpassed all expectations and standards. Super impressed with this shop.
These are people extremely dedicated to the shop and each other. When I got my gear, I didn't feel pressured to get things I didn't need or get the most expensive things. Kelly was excellent with letting me try on different things and telling me what I needed without coming across as pushy.

This is a great shop for anyone looking to get started as SCUBA diver. The basic open water certification consists of a day of classroom instruction followed by a pool skills session and ultimately a trip to the ocean. Casey and Kelly did my pool/classroom sessions and Roupen did my open water skills. They were all VERY PATIENT during the sessions :) I chose to do my open water testing in Catalina. I highly recommend this if you can afford it, but they also have beach and boat dive options. Overall, the entire staff is helpful and they all want you to succeed and enjoy the SCUBA hobby.

It's always good to have local dive shops in your area (away from the ocean) to quickly grab what you need.
This isn't my local shop, but they had posted an item I wanted and was in the area, so I stopped by to grab it. I was surprised by the decent selection of items they kept on hand in the store and, as always, can order you up anything they don't have.
The staff was super pleasant to deal with and we had good conversations as well.

I visited this business for the first time a few days ago and will definitely be back!! It's across from the Brea Mall and so close to the 57 freeway. Great location and easy access for all customers.
I was lucky enough to meet the owner, Casey, who was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to teach me about gear and explain safety measures, proper fit, etc. He has a good personality and made me feel at

Absolutely recommend Seas the Day. My 4 kids and I booked private lessons for Scuba Certification. Kelly handled all the logistics very professionally. Casey was our instructor and is very knowledgable in what he does

***DISCLAIMER- I have no knowledge of the actual Scuba instruction, which I'm sure is very good. My review is of the Groupon offered $219 for a Scuba Class (Worth $575) but they don't actually give you what would be in their normal $575 class. Go to them directly and I'm sure you'll be fine. Buy the Groupon and you'll probably be disappointed like me.
Don't buy a groupon for this place. It's a scam. You'd end up paying more than if you just walked in a bought a class. Worst part. Both this business and Groupon know that clients are upset once they try

My story with Seas the Day Scuba is so much more then just getting PADI certified with Seas the Day Scuba...my son has been fighting T-cell ALL Leukemia for over 3 years. He was granted his "wish" through the Make-a-Wish Foundation and scuba diving in the Bahamas was his dream. After a rollar coaster ride of getting medical clearance and approval, we had a short fuse to make it happen. Casey went above and beyond to see this boys dreams through. Not only did we get certified in time for our trip next week, but my son has made a solid friend whom he respects and admires. His growing passion

A hidden gem in Orange County for ocean lovers! Casey goes above and beyond to help out and make sure you have what you need on a dive trip. We were heading out of town and in desperate need of a strap for our mask. Casey opened the store for us so we could buy one and even set it up for us. Highly recommend supporting the local business!

Great place to get Open Water. Casey along with Diana made the process very fun and informative! I also got a great deal on a set of brand new gear there. STD is so conveniently placed for me, so it's my go-to spot to rent tanks and for refills.

I get to my buddies house to pick up my scuba gear from his garage. I assume he was still sleeping, but when I open the garage, there he is. I tell him I might head to Utah (we live in Vegas). He then said hey I'll go with you. So with another person we change the destination. Nothing like a sporadic trip from Las Vegas to Catalina Island. So we pack the gear and take off. Book it towards the ferry. Realize we have all our gear except for the one thing we love to dive with, a fully charged battery for our video lights. I had an awesome experience with Sherry! She was able to fit me to the schedule and make it all happen, despite the fact that I have only a week before my trip to Mexico. I started on Saturday, and got my temporary card on Thursday!
Sherry spend a lot of time to work with me on my skills, so that I can really be confident and comfortable in water. She was very patient, careful, helpful and told us about her experience of diving all over the world.
