Services
After years of watching women struggle to regain their confidence after their bodies changed with the effects of aging and cancer treatment, Dr. Beatty decided to do something about it. We opened this clinic in 2019 as a way to empower women who have been challenged with various aspects of life and encourage them to find beauty in all things.
We perform clinical breast exams, family history risk assessments, breast ultrasounds, biopsies including fine needle aspirations and needle core biopsies in office. As surgeons, we perform breast surgeries at local hospitals including lumpectomies, mastectomies, excisional biopsies and deep lymph node biopsies.
There are multiple ways to visualize the tissue within the breast and as technology changes, recommendations for screenings change every year. If you are in need of breast imaging services, contact us for a consultation and recommendations for imaging. Screening mammography is typically paid for by insurances under preventative services if the covered person falls within the contracted age range but only once per year.
Breast cancer can be a scary diagnosis but survivability has increased throughout the years as technology has grown, modalities have evolved and medical providers specializing in breast disease have become more common. Breast cancer is the most common cancer found in women but it is not unique to the gender although less than 1% of all breast cancers are found in men.
Genetic testing has become increasingly popular over the years through the likes of at home ancestry tests that are for entertainment purposes. A few companies also claim to offer a medical analysis of genetics but only a few reputable companies actually have the science and studies to support their testing.

This is not against the office workers in the slightest, they were always friendly. If you are transmasc do NOT go here for top surgery. I was left with uneven nipple placement AND size, despite asking for full nipple removal and uneven chest size for what remained. I'm happy I look more male, but they left me looking like a DEFORMED male.

Dr Jennifer Beatty is great and has helped me greatly through my journey! She is such a great source of knowledge and a joy to see each appointment.
I've only had one issue but it was quickly resolved when I showed up to the office.
The staff is very friendly, helpful, courteous, and caring.
The young ladies that were working the front desk and the check out Friday Aug 27th were great to talk to and had a great personalities!

BACKSTORY: I am so grateful to my G.P. for referring me to The Breast Place and Dr. Beatty. My G.P. and now Dr. Beatty are two of the most compassionate, professional, and caring physicians I have ever dealt with.
I was referred because I had concerns about a lump in my breast, even though I’d been told at my last mammogram that it was “probably” only scar tissue from a previous procedure. My G.P. had the wherewithal to understand that my stress over the lump (whether it was cancerous or not) was affecting my health, so he sent me straight to Dr. Beatty.

I highly recommend Dr. Beatty and all of her staff! They have provided me with the most amazing care with everything from imaging, genetic testing to a biopsy and follow-up care. Dr. Beatty is so kind and genuine and even calls you herself with your results. Her assistant Ashley is always so helpful and quick to reply to any questions you may have and appointment scheduling. The kind and loving manner in which they treat their patients is so comforting and I'm so grateful to have received my medical care from them.

They educated me thoroughly about my cancer and it’s treatment. When I was out of questions, which they answered so patiently, I handed my fear and worry over to them!!! And they handled it all like the consummate medical professionals they are!!!

Dr. Beatty was so wonderful. I had Found a lump on my breast and went to have it biopsied. My mother is a breast cancer survivor, so I was extremely nervous and anxious. She put me at ease and gave me exceptional care. She was very thorough and prompt in getting me the results of my biopsy. She called me personally to tell me that it was benign. I’ve been a patient for nearly two years and Dr Beatty and her care team are amazing!! They genuinely care about their patients. They have a way of making you feel comfortable and it’s easy to talk to them about difficult/sensitive issues. The office staff is timely on responses to emails or voice messages. And I can’t put into words what an awesome surgeon Dr. Beatty is and her bedside manner is calming. So glad I found this place! I saw Maureen the PA and she was so helpful. She took time to educate me and fully explain things. She gave really good advice and I felt like she really cared. I left feeling so much better. Not to mention, they charged a fraction of the price for an ultrasound compared to Roper, MUSC and Trident.
