Joe opened his first operation in October of 1986 in downtown, North Haven. Joe recognized early the need for a revolutionary idea of express services in the oil change and car wash industry. In 1986 there were almost no express oil changes in the state of Connecticut. His pioneering effort paid off and his operation was an immediate success.
He drew customers from many miles away just to receive the high quality convenient express oil changes he offered. A second operation was opened near the Hamden/North Havenborder on State Street. This operation was also revolutionary at the time because it offered the convenience of not only the oil change but also car washes and detailing.

I went here for the first time a couple of days ago for an oil change then the free car wash. I found the staff to be particularly friendly, helpful, and efficient. Alex, the technician who oversaw my oil change, was quite courteous, knowledgeable, and considerate. It was an unusually cold and windy day but the guys doing the wash/dry/vacuum were champs!

I needed to get the interior of my car detailed and I found this place. I was able to drop off my car and in less than two hours it was ready to pick up. The results were amazing it really liked and felt like a new car again. The service was good too and for $100 it was a little bit of a splurge but well worth it in my opinion.

When the technician changed the oil on my Audi he did not notice a small crack on the plug ring, therefore, I had to return to have the replacement made ( the cracked ring caused a oil leak). The staff were wonderful, explaining whatever the issue, they would resolve it. The owner was in the building and came out to supervise the work. He explained to me about the "o" ring and also offered to have one of his workmen come to my home and clean the oil leak on the garage floor.

This used to be my go-to car wash but the quality of work has gone down the toilet. There are 9 services with #9 being the most expensive. I purchased #8. Wash, dry, vacuum, windows, wax, interior wipe down and tire dressing. When I returned home I realized I had to wash my own windows (inside and out) and clean my dash and center console. I'm not happy at all. I won't be returning. $28 + tip wasted!!

If I could leave this place ZERO STARS I would. DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH!!!! I repeat, DO NOT!!! The vehicle in front of my car got stuck on the track and my car slammed into his 3 TIMES!! My car even jumped off the tracks. I saw it with my own eyes through the window, and so did the guy who owned the vehicle in front of me. We called the police and filed a report and the "manager" Harvey tried bribing us to go to some crap repair shop Wheelers and we both took our cars to dealership owned shops and that's when the run around started. Been going to this place for years, never had any issues. I'm not super picky about car washes, but with oil changes I usually monitor what's going on and make sure these places use the correct oils. Never had a problem here, and the dude who changes the oil has been here for a while, I trust him. Good guy!!

I have to say I am very disappointed in how this place has gone down in quality and customer service since Ratko(I think that is how to spells his name) has left. This is the third time that they have forgotten to do my tire shine(I know shame on me for not checking but I should not have to). Even the wiping of the inside of the doors and the cleaning of the windows is falling short. I can't show in a photo but you can visibly see that they did not really clean the insides of the windows. They have raised their prices but the service and quality is just not what it used to be. I honestly

TERRIBLE! They have completely gone downhill in the last few months-year. They use to vacuum so thoroughly and now barely do anything. I had brown sugar granules in my cup holder which would have been so easy to vacuum out and they just left them; the back seat sand/grit was still there; mats hardly touched. In fact, I had to go to one of those self-vacuum places afterward to clean it myself! When I called the manager out to show him, he said, "No, we don't usually touch the seats." Well then, - what DO YOU do and what am I paying for? DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Go elsewhere.

I went to get my oil changed. When I arrived I told them I had a coupon, the woman behind the counter told me to go and tell the gentleman that's doing the oil change on my truck. I told him and he said, "ok". After about 15 minutes the woman behind counter calls out my make and model of truck. I went and paid and she asked are you taking your free car wash. I said yes. I waited and waited never seeing my truck come out of the car wash. I go in and said truck hasn't come through. I looked on the side of building and saw it just sitting there. I asked why is it sitting there

I am planning on trading my car in tomorrow and wanted it to be nice and clean before I got it appraised. I called and asked what the latest I could come in for an interior detail was and was told 4:45. I get there at 4:43 and am told they cant do it tonight. I centered my entire day around this and got completely screwed. I will never be returning to this establishment and would highly recommend others avoid wasting their time with a business that does not keep their word and aren't willing to work with customers that have cash in hand.

My car is cleaner than it was before I brought it here, but that's the best I can say.
My car went through their machine and they spent exactly 20 seconds drying it. They didn't even try to dry the windows, mirrors, or the entire back of my car.
They weren't even busy and after almost-drying my car, the guys all went back inside and started chatting.

The assistant manager is exceptionally understanding and does his absolute best to help. I had a strict budget and extra work I needed and he was able to work out a plan to take care of the important things within my budget. The cashier was friendly, helpful, and informed. I just moved to the CT area and will visit Premiere again!
