Trails End RV Park is convenient to all of the wonderful attractions of Western North Carolina. Nestled at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you're minutes to Cataloochee Valley Park where you can watch the Elk graze or take a back-country hike.
Being in the mountains surrounded by beautiful creeks and lakes you can turn a lazy day into a Trout fishing trip or spend the day visiting some of the most beautiful water falls in the country.Convenient to Maggie Valley visit "Wheels Through Time", a rare antique motorcycle and car museum or shop the quaint town of Waynesville.

This was a lovely campsite! The views are AMAZING, and the area was very quiet. The creek ran right behind our site, so the white noise of that all night was so relaxing, and the kids loved playing in it. The sites are a little tight, but there's plenty of room behind your trailer to sit and watch the sunset. I interacted with Peggy by email, and she seemed so friendly, even answered my questions about a fascinating nearby structure :) We're glad we found this place! Thank you for accommodating us on short notice as well.

NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY CAMPGROUND!
We were charged $60/night for a âpremiumâ site. This site was gravel, very small, no patio, the picnic bench was the smallest one weâve ever used. And it was very weathered and rotting in some places. The neighbor was mere inches from our site. We were told that our kids could not walk around the campground. They were not doing anything wrong, just walking around. After getting a talking to about our kids, about an hour later we were âremindedâ that our kids should not trample or pick any landscaping. Our kids didnât do anything like that; the owner

This was a nice quiet camp ground. The sites were a little close, but you had room for your slides and awnings. The owners and host were very helpful and friendly. We had reservation at a private camp ground up the hill called (C.H.) They were less than honest about their site. We got stuck in the driveway and had to use our 4 wheel drive to get our 40 ft 5th wheel out . Trails End was able to work us in oven the 4th of July holiday for almost 3 weeks without having to move our rig. The campground is centrally located to a lot of things to do. Thanks to Trails End for making our stay enjoyable

Owner of place was disrespectful to my wife. Instead of bringing problem to me like a man should. And his dog was the problem to start with . His dog runs around all the camp sites and gets dogs barking anthis guy Joey crider tells me to put my dog in my motor home so if you have pets I encourage you not to stay here.

This is a great place to camp at and still be close enough to Maggie Valley to ski at Cataloochie. The campground is well maintained, has many extras like 50amp electrical service and full sewer hookup. There is a horse farm and cow farm bordering the camp ground, so if you have young kids that is exciting for them to see and explore. There is a small creek that runs along the border of the camp ground. There is plenty of green grass to walk dogs.
Plus, as an extra, the camp ground host, Joey, is a super friendly guy that really helped my family out. Our truck broke down after a 5 hour trip about
