Danielle Elizabeth Wig Studio is located in the heart of Downtown Ridgefield, Connecticut. The owner knows firsthand on how traumatizing hair loss can be to any person experiencing it. As a cancer survivor of two different types of unrelated Lymphomas, Danielle went through extensive chemotherapy which resulted in temporary hair loss.
Today's wigs are worn by more people than ever before. From famous movie stars to professionals and moms you might see dropping off kids at school. They're a solution for dealing with medical hair loss, natural hair loss or to keep up with the latest hair trends without committing to the style permanently.
Hair toppers are designed to fill in sparse or thinning hair or to add a bang. They are mini wigs that are lightweight and easy to wear. Available in Synthetic or Human Hair, toppers can add instant coverage and provide additional volume for your hair. Our EasiXtend Clip-In Hair Extensions are available in 12", 14", 16" and 20" in Human Hair or Remy Human Hair options.
Our Ridgefiled Wig Shop offers One on One private and confidential consultations. We have a private area to try on wigs and offer Hair Care products for your Human Hair wig or Synthetic Hair wigs, toppers, hair extensions or hair piece. Accessories are available as well as washing and styling of your wig.

Words cannot detail how grateful I am for Danielle’s business. At 21 years of age, I am currently struggling with androgenic alopecia that is causing my hair to fall out which has been a major blow to my self confidence. What a great experience ! I am going through chemo and wanted to be fitted with a wig that I will potentially feel great in. This is a hard time. Amazing experience! Danielle is so knowledgeable! When I first started looking for hair options, I felt really intimidated. I had so many mixed feelings and didn't understand the scope of buying a wig or wearing and caring for a wig. All of that went away when I met up with Danielle.
She made the whole experience very comfortable from the booking appt to the consultation to trying on wigs and finally deciding on not just one BUT TWO beautiful wigs that feel so comfortable, so natural and make me feel on the outside like I feel on the inside. Incredible! Danielle, the studio, my experience...everything was incredible! Danielle is incredibly kind, welcoming, supportive, and patient. I felt at ease within seconds of walking into her studio and speaking with her. Her space is perfect - fresh, new, and the perfect size to make for a really personalized experience. My wig is amazing. I wore it to work today and people thought my hair cut and color was amazing. Actually looked 'shocked' and asked me how i was able to change it so perfectly and that is when I plugged Danielles company and was able to tell them about how amazing her and her hair peices were at an affordable price. A few people asked if they could feel my wig and were in awe by the texture and the 'realness' of the hair. I think I just found my new addiction. Danielle, you better watch i don't hand you over all my money! You are going to kill it in this business. Never felt so pretty!

If you're dealing with hair loss like I was (for whatever reason), you're probably not in the best mood to research where you can get good wig/head covering options. And you likely don't want to talk about it too much like me. When I think of a "wig shop" I envision an old, outdated experience...but the Danielle Elizabeth Wig Studio was such a refreshing, uplifting experience that really helped me through a tough time in my life. I have suffered from Trichotillomania for over 20 years. I’ve gone through every option possible to hide my permanent hair loss. I came across Danielle on Instagram and her story touched me. The fact that Danielle suffered through chemo made me feel confident that she’d not only know exactly what I needed to cover up my hair loss comfortably on a daily basis; but more importantly, she’d have a lot of understanding to the sensitive subject. (...and wow I was so right!!!)

My sister suffers from trichotillomania - aka chronic hair pulling. Being a hairstylist myself, I try to help in any way I can. We’ve ordered wigs through other companies that have left us feeling unsatisfied. I came across Danielle on Instagram and being from Norwalk, decided to give her a call. Not only did she answer her phone at 8am on a Sunday, but she was able to get us in the following Tuesday!
Walking into her studio is a dream. The wigs displayed are all gorgeous. Danielle has synthetic AND human hair in stock. You can also try on & order different
