I haven't had an issue with this bank since I got a loan for a car back around 2010-11. Paid the car off a few years ago. Now I'm looking for a lien release letter so I can donate the car I no longer drive. Lady I got through to on the phone was was quick to tell me they no longer have my car's VIN on file and I need to go to the bank and get the lien release. Um....why? What's the difference between getting a letter from the bank on the phone than going to the same bank in person to get one? How will it be different in person if they don't have it on file? I'll update my rating after I go to the

Great credit union 99% of the problems people have with overdraft fees they bring them on themselves. If you have auto pay keep enough money in the account to pay the bill problems solved. We never had a problem with cornstone so if you are getting charged it's most likely on your end nobody will ever be 100% happy it's in our DNA.

Terrible banking policies. If I could give no stars I would. They love to charge overdraft fees, for instance my car payment is an automatic debit and my paycheck is directly deposited, but my car payment somehow comes out at 1am and my paycheck don't hit till later in the morning and I get charged an overdraft fee because my check goes in later in the morning? There should be a grace period before fees start hitting the account. Worse bank I've ever dealt with.

Come on now guys. I'm over here deployed in Afghanistan and don't have any access to account statements for a loan I have with them. I don't get emails or anything else with them either, I just pay through my bank (USAA) online to the auto loan they have. A few months ago they dinged my credit score for missing a payment. After I see the report from my credit score I track them down and give them a call. I don't have any information for my account but they look me up and tell me what's going on. Turns out they didn't have my renewed insurance statement so they tried to apply their own insurance

THIS BANK DOES NOT HAVE A FRAUD DEPT! My card was compromised and used at rite aid on a Saturday. First charge went through (and my account was charged!) Second charge was flagged and they shut down my account. I went to use my card Sunday - it was declined. No call from the bank to tell me what happened. I had to wait until Monday because they're closed on weekends. Call Monday, told to come into bank. The people at the bank told me to 'take it up with rite aid.' Basically that it's my problem. After I stated the person on the phone told me otherwise, they started to complain about how theyre

I drove from Watertown to N Tonawanda at the behest of a credit union representative in order to both update my personal information and to setup direct deposit into this account.
I visited the north tonawanda branch, where i believed everything was accomplished. However, 5 days later, i discovered the account was closed and my direct deposit is floating in no mans land. The bank manager is working to resolve this issue now. When i have an answer, i will provide you with an update...
