While there are some who are able to excel in the ultra-competitive world of modern fitness, the vast majority of us are struggling with a variety of issues related to modern lifestyles. Difficulty maintaining a desirable weight, chronic pain, and dissatisfaction with the results of 'conventional' health and fitness advice are frequent complaints from those of us who are simply looking for real solutions.
My name is Rick Thomas, I'm an NASM-certified personal trainer living and working Norman. My goal is to provide you with a personal fitness program that builds a strong foundation for future success, both within my program and beyond. My passion to become a personal trainer really grew out of my own curiosity about nutrition, fitness, and health.
These days, the problem isn't really a lack of information when it comes to nutrition. The problem is separating the wheat from the chaff. Is it best to go low-carb, gluten-free, or paleo? Is dairy good or bad? What about saturated fat? With so much conflicting information on these subjects, it's no wonder that many get confused and frustrated when attempting to improve their fitness level.

With his thoughtful and attentive approach he was able to diagnose what my specific issues were and how to correct them.
Personal training sessions are typically about an hour. You choose the location (within the Oklahoma City metro), and we work out a convenient time. The initial personal training session will consist of a series of postural, strength, and endurace assessments (which are a good workout in themselves).

After only one training session, Rick corrected form and posture issues that I have had for years. I thought I knew what I was doing before, but Rick showed me some new stretches and modified my form on several exercises which have already made a noticeable difference. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a competent, friendly, and knowledgeable trainer. I think anyone at any fitness level could benefit from his help. I will definitely go to him for any training needs from now on.

Having Rick come to my office 3 days a week to allow my best friend and I to workout has been a blessing. Life gets so busy and it’s easy to put off working out but when Rick shows up with everything you just jump right in there. I always feel so much better after the workout and Rick does a great job at encouraging us to do more but always being kind and positive at the same time. I recently moved into my first apartment complex with an on-site gym, and was eager to use the exercise equipment and get into shape. I have cerebral palsy and needed help to use the gym equipment safely, and enter Rick!

If you don't like going to gyms and want some guidance, OKC Mobile Fitness is the place. Rick is great. Caters each workout to your strength and slowly builds you up, pushing you just enough to get stronger and fitter with each session. Weights have always scared me, but I feel confident that I could go into a weight room and do exercises on my own and do them properly. I am stronger than I have been in years and more confident in myself.

I must admit, he's a tough trainer. With a big heart. He will work you like you've never been worked out before. And always leave you with a smile. He's comical and serious, he listens, and knows exactly what you need. (Whether you believe it or not). He's the best trainer I've been to, and pushes you beyond your (weight limit) and make you realize your full potential.
