Situated in a Victorian-era styled building in West Olympia, The Park Side Caf provides a fresh take on plant-based foods. We are here to help you eat and drink well and we're focused on building trust, community and experiences with our customers and vendors. We are here to make a big impact! We are dedicated to expanding awareness of the connections between people and everything around us.
We are a compassionate caf and deli where community, planet, animals, and you, mean the world to us! We will serve only the best of what we have to offer. For us that means providing you with food that is created with intention. The food sourced by the caf is organic, local and seasonal as much as possible.

Services
Some parking is available in the shared West Central Park Neighborhood Center (WCPNC) lot, located behind Phoebe's Pastry Caf on Division, which you can enter via 4th avenue. Public roadside parking is available as well along Cushing Street. We also provide one ADA accessible space directly next to the caf building.
Seasonal changes can be subtle. Summer days slowly lengthen as evening breezes warm. Spring arrives one tiny flower bud at a time. But autumn likes to show up with a bang. Leaves turn vibrant reds and golds overnight and tumultuous weather drives us indoors. It's now soup and bread season, boots and cardigans, pumpkin spice everything.

Daniel was awesome and helped us navigate the menu. We had the chili, lox bagel, kale salad, and Cinnamon swirl cheesecake, everything was incredible and we loved how the whole place seemed really values informed. Cozy vibe and loved that it overlooks a park. Definitely will visit again on our next trip to Olympia!!!

Upon entry I was told quickly to pull my mask over my nose. It was barely not covering the tip of my nose. I complied and apologized. We ordered an apple hand pie. It was served cold and the dough was raw and gooey. We then were watching an update on the freeway closure due to the flooding and we were asked to not be on our phones and be courteous to the other guests. There was one other person there that was busy on her laptop and Green Day was blasting overhead. Not sure what that was about but we felt unwelcome so we left. We got glared at as we walked out. The food was gross and the staff was

I was, to be, the most upset that is possible! The food of the vegan is not to my appetite!!!!! If but only please for gods love of all this wretched establishment established pork and bacon and ham as a part of their menu. I could only be satisfied. Bones weak now!!!! Cannot consume the sacred flesh!!!! Come at your own risk. Oh, and guess what? NO PARKING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing vegan food!! I love the biscuit and gravy, I was surprised at how good it could be vegan. The view is also great, and the interior is beautiful. The staff is nice and helpful. I wasn’t a huge fan of the cream cheese but my dad liked it. Everything is also super environmentally friendly. I would definitely recommend! And would recommend eating on the roof.

Food is so tasty, expertly prepared and nourishing. I love the Covabelli coffee. I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I choose this place over most others because of the QUALITY.
I think prices are very fair considering portion size and the cost of good organic ingredients.
Place to improve:
I’d love more sweets without cane sugar (honey or maple syrup would be great! Can the lemon cream pie be made w/o sugar?? ;)
The gluten free biscuit is too dry IMHO and it needs more gravy.
Everything else is perfect.

Everything we got here was excellent! My favorites were the cheese steak hand pie and the chocolate cream pie. Wonderful, friendly and quick service. Lovely outdoor seating area. Environmentally conscious takeout containers and utensils. And so reasonably priced too!! I’m sad I live so far away from this gem. If it was near my house I’d be there every day!

Good menu with s surprisingly diverse selection of entrees and desserts. Generous portions. A $10 per person lunch is easy here. Service is great; fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Excellent coffee. There is plenty of seating on multiple levels. There is plenty of street side parking - on the side streets.
