My review is not based on the quality of the food, the food there is really good. But my review is about the service. When I went there I was the first person to order. My order was only four chicken tacos. So I waited and waited after 20 minutes of waiting I decided to ask about my order. The lady stopped the cook because it looked like he was walking away from the area to prepare the food. she asked the cook about the order and he turned around and walked back to the food area and said oh I'll work on it right now. At that point I was already running late for my son practice so I decided

You can smell the smoky mesquite flavor of this chicken as it roasts while you order. The service is kind, no frills, and prompt. The food is delicious and the sides are good. Big ups for going beyond chicken to serve up classic family pack of asada and carnitas. Good stuff all around. Worth the quick wait for delicious eats.

What began as a family-owned chicken restaurant has developed into a chain with locations spread across Orange County. Their chicken and sides have such amazing flavor that remains authentic after all these years! I'm excited to continue trying different dishes!
I do however feel that their indoor dining section could use some more light and liveliness to complement their meals.

This place is very satisfying !! Taste and everything is on point. Only reason I give it a 4 star in stead of ALL stars...... they take forever!. I order a chicken bowl for one person and took 25min for my order to be ready! Not only was I hungry but they were under employed !!! ONE PERSON IN the cook line and ONE person taking orders & getting the orders ready. The people there are lovely just take too long to get your order to come out. Very frustrating they need more employees on their rush hours!

Used to love this place, but quality and service has gone down drastically. Overpriced, tiny pieces of chicken that are very dry and salty. Asked for flour tortillas, was given corn and they were thrown inside the plastic bag unwrapped and very cold. Unsanitary and just disappointing. One star for the good salsas though. You're better off going to Juan Pollo or King Pollo.

2 stars for the food only. Service is bad. Rude staff. I got into an argument because the woman who charged me helped herself by adding the largest tip on my bill. Without even asking. When I asked her about it she said without hesitation that it was her tip. I asked if it was mandatory and she said no but wouldn't remove it. Then she asked in a loud voice "you don't want to tip?" I told her no in a firm voice. I was going to tip but with her attitude and helping herself like that really took the gratitude away.

I ordered chicken family meal with rice and beans. As soon as I opened the rice you can smell it was spoiled. I threw it away and called the store letting them know that the rice is bad (I wasn't sure if they were still serving it to customers). The lady that I spoke to kept saying call back because she was busy. I said I didn't wanna call I just wanted to let them know the rice is spoiled and so I asked for her name and she hung up on me.

We have use El Pollo NorteƱo the past two years for our end of the year senior dinner and they and been very professional, prepared and the food was awesome. They catered our event which has about 120 high school students and staff. The lines for the street tacos was fast and efficient. I would give them my highest recommendation

Grilled chicken place, you get five stars for flavor and value.
If you need quantity value, I think this place is pricey for the meals, but the burrito is probably cheaper than the high end burritos from el pollo loco or Del taco, I had the chicken burrito it was like six bucks.
It had awesome flavor without salsa.
The restaurant has a lot of seating, but I'm not a fan of the beverage options...
I think this could become a regular spot for me because it is the closest chicken place.
