Services
We have a brand-new modern office complete with digital x-rays, paperless charting and amenities such as TVs, tablets, and video games. There is plenty of free parking and a ground level entrance straight from the parking lot. We are in walking distance from the Rockville Metro station and Rockville Town Center.
Your baby's first dental visit should occur when their first tooth comes in, or by their first birthday. The first dental visit is usually short and involves very little treatment. This visit gives your child an opportunity to meet the dentist in a non-threatening and friendly way. During the visit, you will be seated in the dental chair with your child on your lap if your child isn't able to - or doesn't want to - sit in the chair alone.
Dr. Carolyn Chang is a native of Maryland and grew up in Montgomery County. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Georgetown University and is also a Registered Nurse (RN). Dr. Chang then went on to complete her dental education at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

Your child's first visit is not only about our team getting to know them, but also about them getting to know our team. In the time we spend together, we encourage your child (and you) to ask questions, express your concerns, and share with us anything they want us to know to help make their care as individual as they are.
We want to help your child receive the dental care they deserve. We discuss all cost and payment options with you to make sure you are comfortable with their treatment plan and answer any questions you have before the start of treatment. You will never have surprises when it comes to your child's bill.

This is THE dentist if your child(ren) have a fear of dentists. My daughter's fear of dentists and doctors in general has been paralizing. She has had to be put out to get a tooth pulled. And getting her teeth cleaned is just as bad - screaming, crying, full on panic attacks -- the works.
So you can imagine my hesitation when she needed a cavity filled. This was only our second time at All Star so I wasnt sure what to expect.
From the moment she sat in the chair, the dentist calmed her, told her what she would be doing, and knew exactly what to do to keep my daughter calm. I couldnt believe it

They were so kind, professional, and efficient! This was my daughter’s first time getting a filling at 6 years old and she was very nervous, but the staff and Dr. Phan were so friendly and efficient that she didn’t even complain or cry one bit! We came a little early but they took us in almost immediately and we were done in about 20 minutes. The teamwork in this office was amazing! I would highly recommend this practice!!

When I first see all five stars, I had doubt. Especially after the not very pleasant experience with the other pediatric dentistry, which also has a fairly good google review. But All Star proved I was wrong. All the staffs, hygienist, and Dr. Phan are above and beyond. Dr. Phan are very patient and explained everything very well. The communications are smooth, the front desk response to email etc in a timely manner. The charge are transparent with no hidden fee. Now, all my other two friends are bringing their kids to All Star. Highly recommended.

My son had his first appointment at All Star Pediatric Dentistry back in May. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The whole process went smoothly and efficiently. Dr. Chang and the kind staff were welcoming and gentle with my son who was very nervous. They helped him feel comfortable and safe. When he received his dental goody bag and sticker at the end, he was all smiles. Highly recommend!

I just want to give the dental techs, doc and front receptionist at All Star Pediatric Dentistry in Rockville a huge shout out for their awesomeness! The front receptionist was super welcoming and greeted us at the front door. She took us to our private room where the doc and dental tech were waiting. The doc was super amazing and kept my usually… scared kiddo calm and actually engaged in the whole cleaning. Then techs had to take pics of his teeth and did such a great job distracting him and getting the job done. 😃 I can’t recommend this office enough. 👏

My 3 year old daughter had her first dental visit here and it was a great experience for her! She was nervous before we got there but afterwards she didn’t even want to leave. Everyone there made her feel so comfortable &special. She said it was “the best dentist in the whole world” lol. The dentist took the time to explain everything really well to me and parking is great. I highly recommend!

Dr. Phan was wonderful with my daughter. Very thorough in her assessment and follow up discussions. The facility was centrally located and extremely kid-friendly. The staff were very friendly and professional - they also followed up with my insurance to make sure everything was covered. Will move my other kids over.

Great location. Ample parking. The entrance is on the side of the building so no need of entering through front entrance. If you can't find, look for the jewelry shop and next to the jewelry shop is the entrance. When I enter, I surprised how bright and modern the office looks like. My 10-year old got treatment for her decay of tooth with Dr. Phan and Dr. Chang. They were both very helpful and have great interaction with kids. Both of them I believe are very well trained and I will definitely be coming back!
