Pain Free Acupuncture
Pain Free Acupuncture in Salt Lake City exists to provide relief and restoration so you can regain quality of life. We specialize in drug-free pain relief. This dull, achy pain can last for years and is often the result of an injury that didn't heal properly creating an imbalance in the body. Acupuncture targets this underlying problem.

I was in a motorcycle accident a few years back and shattered my femur. I now have a rod going through my bone to hold it together. Because of that every time the weather changes I feel excruciating pain. I was visiting my aunt and uncle and they had told me about acupuncture and about Rachel. I was never a believer in Chinese Medicine but I figured anything is better than nothing, so I gave it a shot.
Services
Acupuncture restores your body to a state of balance and accelerates healing to get you pain-free, sooner. This 80-90 minute session will include a full health history intake and an individualized acupuncture treatment. Other modalities such as cupping, gua sha, infrared heat, moxa, bloodletting and/or e-stim may be used depending on ailment and treatment plan.
Whether you're suffering from acute or chronic pain or recovering from a sports injury, car accident, or surgical procedure, Pain Free Acupuncture will develop a custom treatment plan to help you regain enjoyment in your activities. After your health history intake, we will develop an individualized treatment plan based on the root cause of your pain.
In our latest blog about the difference between dry needling and acupuncture, we talked a lot about myofascial pain and trigger points. We wanted to dive in deeper to help you understand myofascial pain, why it's essential, and how acupuncture can help alleviate it. Dry needling is a myofascial trigger point technique taken from acupuncture that addresses musculoskeletal pain via trigger points in muscles.

Rachel came highly recommended, and after only three visits, my chronic cough was gone. After seeing ENT's, Gastroenterologists, and pulmonary specialists over the past several years, and having every test imaginable, Rachel resolved my health issue in a couple weeks.
I have already recommended Rachel to friends, family, my family doctor, and chiropractor. I am grateful to have found Rachel and Pain Free Acupuncture and look forward to working with Rachel and her team for many years to come.
Thank You!

Rachel is very attentive, listens to you, and genuinely wants to help. Scheduling, although they are busy because they are so good, is a breeze. Consults are comfortable and tailored to your individual needs.. Her clinic is very nice as well. Definite recommendation!

The best there is. Incredibly methodical, attentive, and focused. Remembered more about my injury than I did. I wish every medical professional cared this much about their patient's well being.

Had many appointments to address a shoulder injury and find this place is great. Extremely thorough. More focused on a solution than other professionals are. Really engaged and dedicated to getting to a long term solution. I don't think you can do better.

Rachel is such a genuine and intentional human that it clearly shows in her practice. She understands and educates her patients to understand that pain is a non-linear journey and entails so much more than just the physical. I love seeking help from this brilliant woman!!

Rachel is excellent.
Some years ago a fine acupuncturist, since retired, helped me with otherwise untreatable asthma. Now, with other difficult issues needing attention, how was I to find a competent replacement?
I was helped to do so by Rachel's website and reviews. My experience is that she is expertly trained--and she listens, understands, and focuses on problems she can confidently treat--with remarkably positive results so far (three months).

I have arthritis and will always have to manage lower back pain. I was referred to PFA by my chiropractor and have been a client since February 2020.

Rachel has excellent bedside manner and is always professional. She has a variety of skills that allow for a customized approach to each session. Be sure to vocalize your preferences and needs, she can help but only if you tell her.

When Covid hit, she proactively went above/beyond to ensure safety was not compromised in any way and this made me feel confident to continue coming bi-monthly.

New office is very nice, too.

Have lived with lower back pain for over 20 years trying chiropractic, cortisone shots, and various exercises/stretches. With each I have received relief, but each has taken a lot of time for relief and then my back flares up again. A friend suggested acupuncture which made me a bit nervous not knowing much about this treatment type. I started researching the many providers in the SLC area and decided to try Pain Free Acupuncture. Rachel was great to put me at ease and explain the treatments. I am thrilled with the results of the treatments as for the first time in a long time, I get up in

As a massage therapist, I deeply appreciate the benefits of Acupuncture. I have worked with acupuncture therapy in the 5 element tradition and TCM tradition for over 10 years. I am fortunate to have found Pain Free Acupuncture! Rachel provides an environment of healing that is supportive, focused, and committed to my personal health on all levels. Her needle touch is incredibly gentle, and always placed on the right point for my body. She has used Electric Stimulation for my dislocated ankle, hip pain and back pain to help me keep my active lifestyle and has literally brought me back on my

I've been working with Rachel since a car accident in July and have been astonished by how effective her treatments are. It's been really wonderful to work with someone who listens to what's going on and is able to translate that into effective treatments! And the cups, oh the cups!

I went to Rachel monthly for work on my back muscles for a couple of years while she was in Bend. My back tends to knot up pretty badly form general stress, but a once a month treatment with Rachel keeps that problem completely at bay. I highly Rachel as an acupuncturist!

My sister Simone was the victim of a hit and run (She was a pedestrian hit by a car in a parking lot). She suffered serious deep muscle and nerve damage to her shoulder and knee. She tried just about everything out there to stem the chronic pain and stiffness. Nothing worked. Then she tried acupuncture with Rachel. OMG! It was like a miracle with the very first session! She was actually able to raise her arms over her head (something she had not been able to do for over a year) And only got better and better with each session. Now she is like she was before the hit and run.

This is a review for Rachel Pearce who treated me in March of this year. I went to see her due to a strained muscle in my shoulder due to an accident on the ice. Rachel was very thoughtful and attentive in the intake portion of our appointment and i felt like she truly had my health at top of mind. She asked great questions before ever laying a hand on me, as well as throughout the entire session and all the sessions that followed. Rachel expertly and painlessly provided acupuncture treatment on my shoulder, back and hips, as well as other target areas such as feet, head, ears, hands. Rachel
