Great little place for tacos. I got the carne asada tacos and they were delicious and they were prepared super-quick!
The gentleman working there was very nice and helpful. While you wait for your tacos to be prepared, you can start dishing out the condiments to put on them at the little cold bar.
Only have 4 stars because the Coke from the fountain didn't taste right and didn't take a sip until after I left. This would not keep me from coming again for the amazing tacos!

Good stuff! Friendly staff, tasty food, and quick.
Breaded shrimp isn't a typical order for me, but I ordered this taco based on other reviews, and glad I did! Very tasty.
I also had the caramelo - grilled steak mini quesadilla. Delicious!!
They have a salsa bar with tons of options. I just wish they had another red salsa. The one there is that bitter super hot kind I don't care for. Next time, I'll try the tomatillo. Plenty of pico, and an avocado tomatillo sauce and many other options.

The combination fish and shrimp taco is really good as is the combination shrimp and Carne asada. Do yourself a favor and order the tacos "santa" style, which comes with a grilled layer of cheese on the tortillas. The salsa/topping bar is robust with multiple sauces, veggies, and other accoutrement including a very unique thin tartar sauce like sauce for the fish taco. Rice and beans is nothing legendary but the tacos plus the topping bar makes this place a must check out. Tacos are served plain as all needed additions are located in the topping bar.

Please support this small business, you will NOT be disappointed. The tacos were some of the best I've ever had. I ordered off of UberEats (in typical fashion), and I have nothing not to rave about. I ordered the Fish taco and Surf and Turf combo, for $11.99 I received 2 amazing tacos, rice and beans, and a drink. Everything was tender and seasoned perfectly and different toppings and sauces were included in addition. I will be telling all of my friends and family about this place! :)

I went there at the end of July because my co-worker and I went there before for a pick up and it was amazing! I didn't go with him for the pick up. This time I went into Santa Madre for lunch by myself. While waiting to order I looked over at the condiments to see what I can add to my burrito, they had a big container of limes that had fresh cut ones under the old ones that were starting to turn brown(cut less, save money) no fruit flies. Placed my order for the carne asada burrito and a drink paid then waited. I went over to the soda machine and the below pictures of mold in the drink dispenser

For this being our first time here… it’s super quaint and super clean and very simple. Their salsa bar is beautiful as shown from the picture . We both had carne asada tacos. The meat just lacked flavor. Next time we go we will definitely try their fish tacos!! Those looked amazing and fresh as we watched him cook them up for another order. I would give 4 but cleanliness and salsa bar gives it a FIVE!!

This place was so good! I had one fish, chicken and shrimp taco. My GF had a fish and a full taco. Everything is super fresh. The batter was cooked just right and the toppings were all fresh! All tacos come out naked for you to put all your own toppings. Prices were super fair, well worth the 25 minute drive we made. Our friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Friendly service and nice music. Very pleasant place to visit. Thank you!

Stopped in here yesterday after hiking South Mountain. Interesting concept; they serve their tacos naked and then you add the toppings you want. They had a pretty nice variety of toppings, including: cabbage, cilantro and onions, cucumbers, pickled onions, coleslaw, and jalapenos. They also had a nice selection of salsas and other sauces. My favorite of the tacos I tried was the Surf & Turf. Great combination of flavors! The Full taco was interesting and flavorful. My only recommendation would be to eat that one first. Tried out this place heard about it on the radio and I was not impressed at all. one the selection. is super small.. n the price is outrageous. 3.79 for one taco... ummm yeah no..... the meat is cut up in BIG chunks and the taste was nothing special.. I will have to say not going back to this spot.. i would not call it a taco shop as the selection is more seafood.....

Fairly busy, but also a small size establishment. Long line & noticed on their menu-no nachos?! As we made our way to the counter I inquired and was disappointed they don't offer them. However, I got chips and a side of beans. The cashier recommended that their salsa bars has additional topping; so I went with that! My daughter got the three Carne Asada tacos and a drink.
Pretty pricey for about $19! They use a system which doesn't provide a receipt offers gratuity
