Rosa's Mexican Grill

Okay so I'm my honest opinion, if you have Covid then this place is perfect for you. You don't want to taste anything other than the chips without salsa. 1st salsa taste sweet and like all of them taste sweet. 2nd order the simple lunch special 2 tacos and rice and beans. Took 20 mins.Maybe even longer. Server guy pretty much slams the plate on the table when it finally comes. Beans taste wrong and me being Hispanic yeah them beans were old or they cooked them with something else. No salt or any flavor in regular beef tacos. Rice was okay. But pretty much left our plates full. Good stuff

Went there Xmas day, and 1 of the best Mexican Places I have been in Phoenix, especially Mesa. Smokey refried beans, mmmmmm. Salsa is the best, and the Margaritas were on point! Great meal, good service.

Never had eaten here before, walked over, from where I was parked , got take out I was pleasantly surprised when I got back to my truck and I saw this giant Burrito enchilada style it was delicious I actually could not finish the whole thing which is quite unusual for me, I highly recommend the place, everybody I came in contact with were super nice. And look that Huge bag of chips!

This is definitely more "American" rather than Mexican style food. It seems their running theme was sugar. The green salsa tasted like I ate a spoon full of sugar. My friend and I thought, we'll get tacos. Who can make tacos? Um they can. The meat tasted like BBQ meat. I will never eat here again. I recommend they hire a Latin chef and start all over on their menu. I DO NOT RECOMMEND eating here.

The staff are great. It seemed clean. The green sauce was very sweet, almost sickenly sweet for my taste. I couldn't hardly eat the seafood enchiladas because of the sweet sauce. There was a thick coating of cheese between the tortilla and the seafood that was rather clumpy and tasteless. My husband had one of the specials. Chicken Mole. The chicken was terribly dry, the sauce unappealing, and the same thick layer of plastic like white cheese inside the tortilla. We both mostly ate the filling, rice and beans. The even worse news is that we both felt quite nauseous within an hour after eating.

Stopped in for lunch today — the food and service were excellent as usual. Today, the on-duty manager, Danny, had to handle a sensitive issue with a customer. He handled it perfectly, making the comfort and safety of all customers the highest priority. This is a great restaurant with a great staff. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been going to Rosa's since it was under the name Hacienda in Mesa. We always had a favorite server and we're lucky enough that he is still serving for Rosa's. We absolutely love your staff and food. The new building is beautiful and clean as well as the last was. The food is amazing. Drinks are sooo good. We love your hot salsa! We have took multiple people here, some from out of state. They all say it's the best Mexican food they've ever had. Thank you, for all you do to make every visit/experience great for us!

The food was excellent! The outside of the place is a little underwhelming, but once you go through tue front door it is a Mexican wonderland. The place is pretty big and there are decorations everywhere, and with festive mariachi music playing. The staff is really nice and attentive. I did not have any problems with the food or service. Waiters wore masks, which was good I guess. It felt like this place was really authentic, I hope more people come out to support it because it was very empty when we went out for dinner at 7 on a Saturday night. Please go try this place! They deserve your business

I'm in town for work in this area a few times a month. I stumbled across this place tonight and the food and Cadillac margaritas were amazing! I went with two of my coworkers and everyone had great food and great drinks. Staff was also very friendly. I had the Chile relleno and a hard shell taco. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Just found my new local spot.

Biggest Chimichanga I've ever had. Very good food. Danny our waiter was spot on! Wife loves the margaritas and a shredded beef enchilada. Very satisfied for a shot in the dark dinner.

We read about this restaurant in a local paper and every time we drive by say we should eat there… tonight we did and we already have plans to go back on Friday. Food is so fresh you can taste every ingredient…… I’m not sure I’ve ever had a food experience like that before. Portions are huge and it was the best house margarita I have ever had. $3.50 margs on Fridays… see you there. Thank you💜

Last night we ate here for the first time. After just one fabulous experience, Rosa's is now our go to spot. I'll start with the restaurant itself. It's immaculately clean, tables are well spaced, chairs are amazingly comfortable and the decor is so welcoming. Next, the staff. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly and accommodating. Our waitress, Rosa, was super nice, attentive and fast! Our group enjoyed her very much. Finally, the food. I can't say enough about that! It came to our table HOT and everyone in our party raved about how delicious everything

We thought Rosa's was really good. They offer several different salsas with the chips and the salsa verde is probably the best I've had. I tried the enchiladas Monterey and really liked it. It came with rice and black beans. Service was also spot on.

The waitress was very nice and the food was very delicious I would totally recommend them if u are in Arizona area stop by and get some food from them very good

It's located in an unassuming spot, but it's so good! I went for lunch and only had the chicken taco salad, but I was really impressed! The restaurant is clean, it has nice ambiance, reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly.

This place is awful. LOL. We waited an hour for our food which is not the end of the world. I thought well maybe the food will be worth the wait. Not so much. My little boy got gmo sized tamales that were pure masa. (Literally zero meat) Crazy! The retried beans lol tasted like they mixed bbq sauce in them. Horrible doesn't even describe how bad the food was.

What was sad is we had a party of 15 and everyone had full plate when we left.

I felt bad for the waitress. They were understaffed and she did her best. Naturally the quality of the food was not her doing. But yeah....Save yourself

My first time here. Just out of dr appt and wanted Mexican for lunch. I’m impressed!! This place Rosa’s Mexican Grill is super good!! The food is very good flavor and prepared any way you request. The queso dip was so good! and that sweet green salsa dip is to die for. I most definitely recommend this place!!!!!

Found this restaurant nestled in the back of a small shopping center. After a very long day, I just wanted something light and quick. The gentleman at the front completely understood and recommend the fiesta… cheese crisp. I was heading home in 10 minutes, and the smell coming from the box made my mouth water. I am not disappointed, and look forward to bringing my family back this weekend and getting my margarita!

Gosh. I'm not sure how long this location has been open, but I'm so glad I found it! I saw the flags as I was driving by and it's practically in my neighborhood and thought to myself - "self, maybe this Mexican food won't let you down - let's try it!" So . . . three of us pull in and try it out. I've been in AZ since 2008 and haven't found a good "every day" Mexican place that was really yummy. There's high end and drive through that I've found, but not an every day dinner, happy hour, or lunch kind of place. Friends, this place is

Oh my...I hate to write this. Long time customer, including a lot of take-out.

My guess is that this location is on its last legs. I love this place and the food is great. With that said, last Friday (11/13/2020) we called in an order a little before 2 PM...figured that was before the inevitable 3 PM shift change...The took the order and said the usual - you guessed it - ready in 20 minutes.
