I have been associated with State Farm since 1992. I have been in South Carolina nearly all of my life. My family moved here from Fort Rucker, Alabama because my father, now a retired US Army Master Sergeant, became a recruiter in Florence, South Carolina. I was appointed in Columbia, SC as a State Farm Agent in 2000.
Our agency team has over 75 years of combined insurance experience. I am a proud graduate and lifetime member of the Alumni Association of the University of South Carolina-Columbia, where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Applied Professional Sciences.

I was having difficulty securing coverage from an insurance company for a fender bender that was not my fault. Larry suggested looking for security cameras that might give some insight. Through the cameras I was able to make contact with an individual who witnessed the accident.
The insurance company then certified full coverage for my repairs. By the way, the witness turned out to be an attorney!!! Thanks to Larry for being so prompt and helpful in this issue.

Larry has been my State Farm agent since 2002. He is great to work with and his whole team is very responsive and helpful. We moved from Columbia to Clemson in 2010 but I decided to stay with Larry because of their excellent customer service. I highly recommend Larry Lucas if you are looking for a great insurance agent.

I texted my agent, Larry Lucas, regarding an urgent matter, asking him to simply call as soon as he could. I received a call one minute later. Although he was commuting to his office, Larry had immediately pulled over to the side of the road and called me back. His concern was genuine, his professionalism was evident, and his answers helped me to address the issue immediately. Upon arriving at his office, Larry called with more helpful details, and also to make sure I had everything I needed. It was obvious he cared, and I felt much better knowing he was in my corner!
