Lonnie D. Davis, MD joined OrthoBethesda's Arlington office, in Suite 180 of Virginia Hospital Center, as a Sports Medicine Specialist, specifically specializing in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle. A graduate of Cornell University and the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Dr. Davis completed an Orthopedic surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Please call your family physician or Pre-testing at Suburban Hospital at 301-896-2222 as soon as possible to schedule your pre-operative physical examination, which must be done no more than 7 days prior to your surgery. All results must be faxed to Suburban Hospital at 301-896-7345 no more than 5 days prior to surgery to ensure processing.

I had TKR with Dr. S Durbhakula in June of 21. Came back to see him January 17 with issues with not just the replaced knee but my other knee that was "locking". Two weeks later, xrays and MRI taken, I have yet to hear from this guy what treatment I need moving forward ... I got a phone message "will contact you in the near future" from his assistant today !!! I waited all day to hear from him. This lack of followup is not acceptable. I now have to find another ortho specialist to pick up this slack.

The most efficiently run doctors office in Maryland! When researching doctors to consult for a leg surgery, OrthoBethesda constantly came up and was recommended to me. Dr. Buber did a great job with my surgery and was extremely professional. During my post-op recovery, both him and his assistants were extremely attentive and ensured I had a great recovery. I definitely recommend this office for any ortho surgeries!

I found out Dr. Davis has moved to this new practice and called to see if I could talk to him about some disability information request. I called around 4:20pm on 10/6/2021 they close at 5pm and I was put on hold and inform that I had one caller in front of me and waited 15 minutes before someone came back to the phone only to tell me I have to speak with his assistant and was transferred only to get a voicemail. The OrthoBethesda physical therapy group is a top-notch establishment. From the front-desk assistants to my excellent physical therapist, Scott Pape, I have had nothing but a positive experience every time I have come for physical therapy.
Just a quick shout-out to Scott. He is so, so smart! And, most importantly, he is very approachable and has a great sense of humor. It doesn't feel like work when I am doing PT with Scott. Re: Dr. Sridhar. Durbhakula. In my knee replacement surgery, the parts he used were too large and were misaligned. Immediately after surgery and for 8 months, I had very painful spasms every single day. He overlooked the many red flags of my unsuccessful surgery and my lagging recuperation. He didn't listen to or believe me when I tried to address my lack of progress and on-going pain. He was dismissive about getting a second opinion. I got one anyway. Dr. Gazdag from Ortho Bethesda was a godsend! I initially went to Dr. Danial Perez in Laurel, his office staff was unprofessional to say the least. Dr. Gazdag came and saved the day. His office staff treated me like a queen. The surgery went as expected; I felt safe and informed throughout my whole broken ankle ordeal. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr. Fisch and his team and medical assistant Anastasia for their attentive and quick acting aggressive care. After seeing another competing practice in Virginia who ended up being totally incompetent and even lost my records and who's specialists were not available to see me for weeks, I was able to schedule an appointment Sunday night via Zoc Doc with Dr Fisch, do all the paperwork on Monday morning and confirm the appointment for 2:30. I started going to ortho bethesda right before the pandemic started for a shoulder /neck injury, my physical therapist was great. i only had a few meetings with her then boom we were hit with the unexpected corona virus. i cancelled my remaining appointments and i was charged for one cancelled appointment, no an option for a forgiveness for my first ever cancelled appointment due the circumstances. I was able to get a referring Doctor NOT FROM ORTHOBETHESDA, to call and get me an immediate appointment since I had a bad accident with my Segway. ORTHOBETHESDA saw me on a Tuesday and the appointment was made on Friday night. The only reason I believe it wasn't Monday is because I needed a referral from my primary care provider required by my insurance provider. They were nice to me, I did feel like the Doctor was rushed but he spent the time to answer all of my questions. And I can ask a lot but Sometimes I can be too quite.

Ortho Bethesda is top of the line. I can say this because between me and my family members, we have seen most of the docs in the practice (unfortunately), and my mom was probably one of their earliest patients, as I recall her going to see Dr. Caulfield in the 70's. Not once have I had any reason to be disappointed or dissatisfied with the practice. My son had a pretty serious injury to his finger during camp when he was around 6 years old. Dr. Mahidhar M. I've been experiencing hip pain for months and looked into hip specialists landing on Ortho Bethesda as the best one in the area and takes my insurance. Extremely easy to work with them from appointment to parking to seeing the physician to x rays all very fast and well done. Ends up my hips are great but have bursitis in the hip area and tight tendon so need PT which they also have in the building. They have everything you can think of under the same roof. It's a very large group and you'll be well cared for.

My son had ankle broken and got surgery twice from Dr. Bhattacharyya. Thanks to him, my son got recovered well and has come to play basketball as before. In addition, the financial manager Angie gave me good information on my troublesome concern and kindly helped me that I could resolve it with her assistance.

This place is NOT recommended for a workers comp claim. Dr Holmes is the only doctor that handles the claims and he does not care about his patients. His appointment time with me was less than 2 minutes and he recommended 1.5 months of PT. He also indicated to come back for more, but not before he asked me point blank if I wanted a note so I do not have to work... All the other doctors in the practice including Dr Durbhakula who has been a family doctor for decades are only interested in their bottom line and thus do not want to deal with workers comp. I guess the Hippocratic oath is all Greek

OrthoBethesda has a top notch medical team in one central location. They are a large office that functions very efficiently. I myself have seen two doctors and my son, one. All doctors seemed knowledge and personable. I've never had complications with medical billing or customer service. Their office is located directly across from the back parking lot side of Walter Johnson High depending on what street you enter from and parking is easy to come by. Bring your parking ticket with you as they started to validate parking as of mid-year 2019. I saw with Dr. Gazdag (foot and ankle) and Dr. Feuhtbaum

My family was first introduced to the team at OrthoBethesda when my father met Dr. Bieber after a car accident over 20 years ago. Our family has been using them since. Dr. Bieber dealt with my fractured wrist over ten years ago. Dr. Gazdieg is an amazing foot and ankle specialist.
Craig Miller is first-rate. Miller's examination was extremely thorough. Ortho Bethesda also has an amazing team of physical therapists who are very caring people.

I recently had cervical spine surgery with Dr Eric Feuchtbaum. Dr Feuchtbaum is an excellent surgeon. He explains things carefully and listens thoughtfully. My surgery was a success-I am completely without nerve pain. Dr Feuchtbaum called me at home personally the day after discharge. He was very receptive to questions and always listened when I had a concern. I highly recommend Dr Feuchtbaum!

I recently had rotator cuff surgery performed by Dr Miller. Before having surgery I was in crazy pain, easily 10+ and I had heard stories from other people how their arm was never the same again after the surgery. They were performed by other doctors at other practices but I'm here to tell you that Dr Miller at this place, OrthoBethesda, was fantastic! My shoulder has NEVER been better. This man is an artist in his profession! If YOU have to have rotator cuff surgery believe me this is the Dr you want to perform the operation. This clinic is pretty big! I was amazed! It looks like a mini hospital floor. Plenty of staff members to help assist. If you are going to your appointment and it's your first time going here? Please come early! They have a tablet that you have to fill out your information on.
The doctor that assisted be was Dr. Holmes. He was a really nice guy overall. I been having hip and knee pain and the assistant took xrays of my hip and knee. The doctor recommended Aleve for my pain. But I honestly was expecting more advise? But I get it, they are bone doctors and I'm assuming they don't

Dr. Gazdag is a very good foot & ankle surgeon. Came for first visit and he was very personable and direct. The office is large and they give you tablets to complete the paperwork -including swiping your payment or Co pay. Second visit was quick. Surgery was scheduled for Piccard Surgery Center within a week. Overall good experience with staff but not overly friendly front desk persons.

Dr. Fisch was a great find and his practice accepts my insurance for surgery too! It is hard to find an outpatient surgery center that accepts my insurance and so glad I found this practice.
I needed epidural shots to help relieve my nerve pain and Dr. Ira Fisch came to the rescue. It is a quite witty, and a bit humorous, which I found a bit refreshing.
We did the surgery at the Surgery Center of Rockville and the Dr. performed the shots into my back. What a relief.
Anyone looking for a much better orto experience, please look here. I had some doctor offices, like the one next door
