Services
Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Saam graduated first in her class at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, and went on to complete an additional three years of specialty residency training at Swedish Medical Center in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery. Special interests include sports medicine, biomechanics, pediatric foot problems, and bunion surgery.

Dr. Jennifer Saam knows how critical it is to make a visit to a new doctor as stress-free as possible. She will address your child by name and make a point of involving them in the examination and treatment plan. With children, gentle conservative care is the goal. The majority of the time, all necessary treatment can be provided in our office.

Feet are an amazing and very complex part of the body, but are often neglected despite the amount of use they receive. A common problem that patients see a podiatrist for is pain in their heel. At the very least, heel pain can be an annoyance that many people cope with on a daily basis. At its worst, heel pain can be a disabling condition that prevents you from doing the things that you love.

I have had Dr Saam as my podiatrist for a number of years now. She is the podiatrist who uncovered the issues in my ankle had to do with arthritis when others had dismissed the possibility, and she has been very open and professional in her approach to doing what we can to keep me running. Dr. Saam is superb. She is careful and sensitive to those who have serious conditions. I find her to be far better than the others in my area. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a podiatrist. Having worked with other Doctors in the area I can honestly say, she is the best and I wouldn’t consider going to anyone else for care. What can I say? This office has it together. Sheila at the front desk is sweet, professional, and on top of things. Dr. Saam is a stellar Podiatrist. I wish more doctors were as professional, informed, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She listened to my issues, took an X-Ray of my foot right then and there, and walked me through the results. She then took her time and took a cast of both my feet herself and had them sent to the lab. She took the time to explain all the details.

Dr Higashi took the time to patiently explain what was going on with my Achilles. She addressed multiple concerns and provided her undivided attention taking approximately one hour with me. I had a question the day after my appointment and she phoned me back herself to address my concern. This sort of attention is appreciated, and somewhat rare. I traveled three hours to see Dr Higashi because I was in extreme pain.
