Our extended care program specializes in treatment for substance use disorders focusing on drug and alcohol dependence and addiction. Our therapeutic model uses many different approaches, in order to provide our clients with multiple avenues to find recovery.
Our approach employs both individual and group therapy. We utilize experiential group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, 12-step integration, rational-emotive behavior approaches as well as psycho-educational groups. I went to their detox facility about a week or so ago and I will say, it's a great place to go if u find urself in a situation similar to mine. From the admissions process with Taylor, to the admit with Josh and the super sweet, compassionate nursing staff. All top notch providers and I would recommend going here to anyone going thru the struggle. Especially if u live in the KC area. As I literally only had to drive 15 minutes to get there, that's a huge bonus if u ask me. Check em out, u won't regret it.

This place is absolutely, positively, the only reason I am sober today. I have tried other rehab environments but nothing has come close to the way that MRC approaches giving every single one of their clients the best chance at recovery one could hope for. The facilities, staff and experience is second to none. Most all of the staff are in recovery themselves so they TRULY understand how to approach and handle some very unique situations. There is a family like vibe and dedication from all staff that will be hard to find anywhere else. I would recommend MRC to ANYONE that is looking at recovery

MRC absolutely saved my life and there’s no words to express how grateful I truly am for this program. When I came in, I had no car, just evicted from my apartment, and utter hopelessness. Since going through MRC Phase 1 and Phase 2, I now have almost 10 months sober, new car, and was given the tools to start working on becoming the best version of myself. I absolutely believe in the MRC program. This program is different than others I have been to. It has taught me how to live sober and a better life in all ways. The entire staff truly cares about everyone and the different Phases tackle different stages where someone is in their recovery. This is such a lifesaving facility! MRC goes above and beyond to give their clients and their families the best resources for success in recovery of drug and alcohol addiction. They are personal and have a great ethics outlook. And can personally say that without them I have no idea (and it scares me to think about) where my son would be today!

When it comes to Midwest Recovery Center I truly have to admit that this has been the experience of a lifetime. After going to treatment in Cherry Hills, New Jersey I can say both places have done me a lot of good in such a short time. From nearly losing my life to alcohol/medication to losing my family this place has shown me a lot of hope and gratitude. Getting the tools to succeed in life as well as learning new coping skills to deal with grief, going through a horrible break up and just getting tools to help me be a accountable father. My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Midwest Recovery Center and are so glad our son chose them out of all our treatment options. We have our son back!! Every single employee that our son has worked with has proved they only care about our son's recovery. Even when our son was down, the staff was right there to pick him up. The multi-phase levels of treatment are teaching our son not only to work on his addiction but also all other factors that played into it. We are finally optimistic about his future.

Our 30-year old son is a client of Midwest Recovery Centers. After completing the 90 day Phase I program he is residing in one of MRC's Phase 2 sober living houses. We believe this program is the best thing that has happened for our son in many years. He has responded so positively to the MRC program and especially the staff - it's really helped him turn his life around.

Midwest recovery centers is by far the best treatment center I have ever been to. All of the staff are amazing and treat you with respect and dignity throughout the entire process. They really take the time out to get to know you individually and they were a huge help on my journey to sobriety. Would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is struggling or has a family member struggling with addiction. They use group sessions along with the 12 steps and aa/na to give you a strong foundation for going back out into the real world.
