My husband and I ordered the crab cakes with poached eggs and hollidaise sauce. It was just as good as when wengo to Galveston. Everything is homemade and excellent. I got the grits side which came with a blueberry butter crumble. I never had grits like that and Omg it was incredible! Great little diamond in the ruff. Please visit this place. I want them to prosper in this pandemic. They seemed a little slow bit the food was outstanding!

We visited King's Cafe today because it is close to home. There were very few patrons, so it shouldn't have taken as long as it did to get our order. We saw the order come out and placed on the counter. We also saw personnel walk right by it. We enjoy coming here, however service needs to step it up.

I think that maybe my mother and I walked in at the butt end of a rush and they were cleaning up. Anywho, we were those customers that sat a dirty booth table, only because it was the only one available, my mom has this thing with her teeth. So fast forward to after when we get our drinks and our order has been placed. I swear and I’m not making it… up that we waited around 40 minutes to get a first plate, which I think they gave us a split order of one of the orders we got because it’s all that was ready by that time. Which consisted of fried eggs, potatoes a slice of bacon

Until eating at Kings Blu Jam Cafe, I would have told you that the best crab cakes in Houston were to be had at Brennan's Restaurant. Until Kings Blu Jam Cafe.
Big, meaty chunks of ocean fresh crab, little crispy touches of Ritz crackers and the perfect spice mix. Sautéed and paired with a simply dressed green salad, and, mercy, the best dang homemade remoulade ever.
Pure yum. I wanted Richard to taste how good those crab cakes were, but I couldn't spare one bite.
This place is way the heck out of the way for us, but we will be returning.

First time stopping in for a bite to eat and must say I'm so glad I did. They have a Keto menu! Fresh, hot coffee that was served non stop to my table. I ordered the Florentine with grits...delicious not to mention homemade jams and butters! I had their blueberry butter to go with my grits, yummy !
My server was Brie. Brie was very friendly, great smile that lit up my day! Brie had so much menu knowledge. I didn't even know it was her first day. I definitely will be back for lunch to try the recommended (by Brie) Monte Cristo!

Visit today was very laid back easy going.. food was spot on and service to match. Prices are higher than average..
Presentation was good and food was hot and very good... If any negative, this location is starting to show it's age.. a good cleaning of the windows, doors and a cleaning in general would be a huge fresh plus... just my opinion..

We had a really great brunch date today here. I got the Amaretto vanilla french toast, and it was DELICIOUS! portions are really big, and my bacon was thick and cooked just how I like it, crisper. My husband got the chicken and waffles, which was also pretty big. The chicken appears hand battered, and was also tasty. Our server gave us blueberry butter for our meals, and it was a really nice addition to both of our picks. Coffee was good, and service was fantastic. Our server kept our coffee full and was on top of anything we needed and was friendly. Really cute little place, though a few things

Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the crab cake Benedict w red potatoes and so excited!! Blake is amazing, and that's all I'm here to say. His energy was contagious! Super helpful, attentive, and on it! Thanks for everything! Food is also delicious, definitely a go-to spot for any time of day! The wait is worth it. Trust me.

We just had breakfast at King's Blu Jam Cafe for the first time and it was incredible! The staff and owner were so friendly and the portions were sizeable! The food really speaks for itself - it is all home made and you can taste the care that goes into every meal! We definitely plan to become regulars!

This place has some of the best breakfast I've ever had! I had the "hash brown bowl" and my fiancée had the Banana Pancakes, they were both delicious! The food and juice/lemonade is freshly made and the service is amazing. Blake and his cute charming giggle definitely make me want to come back. He was a wonderful, friendly server - very attentive and gave great recommendations. The seasoning he suggested for the hash browns is delicious also!
All they need is some mimosas ;)
Next time I'm in Houston, I'll definitely stop in!

The food was AWESOME and the staff was great as well... Was able to speak to the owner (Kelly) as she was a ray of sunshine. We enjoy supporting small businesses every chance we get. Love the fact that she gets all of her fruits veggies and even some meats from local businesses as well.... Our first time being there but definitely not our last... Well-worth the 13 mile drive from the house.

I really want to like this place but it was really disappointing. Upon arrival I really liked the small and cozy atmosphere. I thought it was a good sign when most of the tables were busy but I guess you should not judge a book by it’s cover. I order a blackberry lemonade and coffee for my mom. My mom the order chicken and waffles and I order the corn beef hash. My corn beef hash beef was super salty so I just ate the potatoes and the egg. My mom said her chicken and waffle was very basic. I also had a biscuit with my order and had to ask for it twice before I got a biscuit that was not fully

It's important to rate restaurants in the league that they are. Kings is a CAFE. It's clear in the name.
So, this cafe is top-notch. With delicious food, friendly service and a neighborhood vibe.
I had the Crab Cake Benedict. I asked for hot sauce before trying it. I'm glad I sampled a bit before pouring on the hot sauce. This Benedict is spicy and delicious. I didn't require any of the hot sauce. Yum!
My Niece had the Shrimp and Grits. She really enjoyed it. She said it was delicious and flavorful. The greens were a welcome addition to the dish.
We also had some of the Blueberry Pancakes.

The hubby and I stop by for the 1st time on Sunday and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW!!!
From the service to the food everything was FABULOUS!!! The fact that its family owned just adds to the homey atmosphere. The only thing I am disappointed in is the fact that we have drove by so many times and never stopped.

So today for brunch we hit up Kings Blu Jam Cafe- let's start with Ozzie our server who was a bundle of just personality and customer service above and beyond-
We had the chicken and waffles- corned beef hash and the bacon.... Ozzie brought us every jam and jelly they make including some apple butter that should be illegal- they were out of a few items but it's because they buy local and fresh everything is made daily and when it's gone it's gone- which is great by any cafè standard- anyway we will be grabbing this spot again soon to check that menu for things we missed- also
