At Lee Side Wellness, we offer a wide range of mental health services, including Psychiatric assessment and medication management, Psychotherapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Pharmacogenomic Testing and Consultation. With the exception of TMS, all services are offered in person or virtually through a HIPAA-secured application.

Services
At Lee Side Wellness, we provide outpatient psychiatric and mental wellness care that works. We believe that real healing happens with caring clinicians and the right treatment methodologies. Discover more about our professional team. NP Altman has been with Lee Side Wellness since 2017. She treats adolescents and adults in our Mason office as well as through virtual visits, and also serves as the CEO for the practice.
Lee Side Wellness provides a variety of outpatient services to our patients. Our practice began with just one nurse practitioner who believed that there was a better way to provide mental health services. We are where we are because of our patients, and we want to make sure they are getting the best care possible.
Lee Side Wellness has two convenient offices for patients in the northern Cincinnati and southern Dayton communities. Patients in Arizona can connect with us virtually. We receive a very high volume of NP preceptor requests. Please note that we typically book out 1-2 semesters in advance and are currently fully booked for summer and fall 2021.

I scheduled an appointment and showed up to there building thinking I was going to see somebody in person. All there reminders, except for one email, neglected the fact that I had a video call with them. Half my fault for not being thorough and half there’s for not being crystal clear.
I fumbled around and finally logged in 13 minutes past my slotted time. Nobody showed up. They may have a ten minute policy to not be obligated to remain online, but I suspect I was forgotten about.

I was recommended by my family doctor to call Lee Side Wellness. From the very first appointment I felt calm and safe. Ashley Gould listened to me more than anyone ever has and still does. A lot had happened to me since I first started going to see her. I would recommend Lee Side Wellness to anyone who needs a professional that really cares. Also she got me set up with Athens’s that monitors my other issues and keeps in touch with me about my results. All in all I am very happy to be involved with this group of professionals.

Go to another agency. They are unethical and unorganized. They do not communicate with their clients let alone with each other as staff. My dog who is about 10 years old with lung issues almost died the day of my appointment, but I still called and told them what was going on. They said they understood. After taking care of my dog for a couple of weeks, I called to schedule another appointment. They said sure and gave me a date but then asked me to hold. The Mason and Dayton areas are fortunate to have Leeside. I've been with Ashley G. as well as Angela and can say with certainty that they want what is best for their patient's and are rooting for them to succeed. I'm confident that the other providers are Leeside are the same. If you're struggling I encourage you to seek help through Leeside.

AVOID! Obviously you’re reading this review because you were brave enough to seek help. Skip the trouble; Leeside will not be helpful. My loved one was seen through Leeside. Helpful NP in the moment but nothing extraordinary. She did act like she hated her job though. Impossible to schedule, speak with the right person and get answers for anything. We made an appointment, went to said appointment and the office was completely closed. No apology or anything the next day. We are understanding people though so we try to schedule again. They give “available” dates way far out; too far away for

I’ve had a great experience here! I was losing hope when every office that I was calling had at least a 3 month wait. Finally I called Lee Side and they got me scheduled in 2 weeks. I see Ashley Altman who is by far the kindest and most understanding person I’ve been to in this field. I never feel judged or embarrassed to tell her how I’m feeling and I can tell she genuinely cares. She gives off a very calming and reassuring vibe. Also she is great about answering messages in between visits.

They advertise as empathic. Do not expect empathy or even effective treatment. They ARE disorganized, unprofessional, and, in end, not at all invested in their patients well-being. I have shown up for appointments only to be told none was scheduled despite receiving reminders from the office. I have been double billed for appointments. I even… received a pretty nasty letter about an appointment that they said I didn't pay for when I had the receipt in hand. No apology, just a demand that I send them a copy of it and I never heard from them again.

Everyone here seems nice enough, but there is obviously poor communication within the office. You will receive different answers from different people about very basic questions.They seem to have a very high turnover, so don't expect to see the same provider more than a few times before they leave.
I find it very off putting when every appointment involves up-selling extra services that insurance doesn't cover.
The service is adequate. It's difficult being passed from provider to provider because so many people leave. I feel like I am starting over every few months.

Like so many other people if I could this office would receive negative stars if that were possible.
I have never in my life met such an incompetent medical and office staff. They lack any kind of manners or respect for the patients that come in, who are already in a fragile mental and emotional state and do not need to be belittled or talked to in a irritated tone by the people who are supposed to be helping them.
It took me six phone calls to finally get a hold of someone who wasn’t even the correct person I needed to be calling. When I did get a hold of her she was annoyed and sounded almost

I have had an apt scheduled at Springboro location and twice I have driven all the way there for them to tell me the psych I see is not in the office. In between these two apt a lady rescheduled me and put me down for the wrong day. I even have the voicemails of when my apt was supposed to be but then I show up and they say it was a different day. A waste of 30 min drive.
