Wood fired pizza making is a specialized craft that requires disciplined training. Modern style pizza was born in Naples, Italy, in 1889, and more than a century later the Italian government gave the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN) legal status to promote and protect "true Neapolitan pizza."
We offer a variety of catering services for your event needs. If you have a family reunion, wedding event, anniversary, birthday, or graduation party, Lorenzo's Catering could be a perfect choice. Wood fired catering - We bring everything you'll need including the setup and our friendly staff. You'll build your own wood fired menu with consultation from our catering manager.

We had gone for campus tour of Oberlin and this pizzeria was recommended to us by a friend. But for that recommendation we would not have gone in at all because the place does not look particularly appealing from outside. But inside is cozy and family type ambience. We ordered a pesto pizza and a make your own. Both were very tasty. The breadsticks were amazing too - soft and delish with marinara and cheese sauce. The only reason for 4 star - it was super oily and loaded but I guess that’s how pizzas should be.. they are not really healthy food anyway ;)

I'm a visitor in town at Oberlin College. During my stay, I ate here twice. I'm kind of a pizza connoisseur & this pizza is top shelf! The crust is thick & crispy & my double pepperoni pie was amazingly good. The garlic bread appetizer was very good, but the cheese garlic bread was so much better... This is a friendly little place with happy staff & exceptional food! I will visit again.

We got 2 small pizza's, because I don't eat most meats. I got pineapple and black olives. He got pepperoni, black olives and peppers. We've been trying pizzas in different towns. Comparing taste, texture, different toppings and prices. It's been fun, I only list ones we liked it's good pizza, assorted toppings and prices good. A place to try yourself.

Lorenzo's is the pizza place to go to in Oberlin! I don't go there often, so when I do it is a treat. We had a long break at work and decided to order out. The service is friendly and the food is great. I have never been disappointed. My friend ordered a salad and they never gave her dressing for it. That was the only thing she ordered, so I do feel bad that she had to eat a dry salad.
I am not sure what socially distancing procedures are set in place since we ordered out. On a typical day, the dining room is packed because everyone loves Lorenzo's!

Excellent pizza with a punchy, savory sauce, tangy mozzarella cheese and a crisp crust. The garlic bread was crisp, buttery and had a great garlic flavor that was complimented by the marinara sauce. The garlic parmesan wings were perfect in portion and bite and tasted great with adequate seasoning and sauce. Even the ranch included with the wings tasted great.

A very good place for a pizza. Lorenzo's is the best pizza in Oberlin. There's not that much competition, but it's still one of the best I've been to anywhere. It has a fantastic special for lunch. You get a very good value.
Be sure to go for lunch. It's not possible to get a deal as good as this at any pizza chain. The lunch special is a personal size pizza and salad. It's only $8, which is crazy. You choose from any of the regular or specialty pizzas. A few are so loaded it's amazing they're included. The vegan pizza is packed with lots of vegetables

We regularly try other places but have yet to find anywhere that even compares. We have been going to Lorenzo's for a few years and EVERY SINGLE TIME ITS PHENOMENAL. I'm not a big food critic but when it's just that good-ITS JUST THAT DAMN GOOD!!!
Highly recommend to everyone! It's our family tradition on New Years Day!

We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza to go and an antipasto salad. The pizza was very good and antipasto great. The dressing that came with the antipasto salad wasn't our favorite. We would have preferred a simple Italian dressing.
The little restaurant is just off the main strip downtown. We parked and went inside to the walk up window. The server was friendly and seemed very happy to work there. Would love to come back and try more items on the menu.

I've been to Lorenzo's several times before and remember the pizza is delicious but I haven't had it since in years so I'll have to update my review when I try it.
I recently went with my family on a weekday for lunch. They have a lunch portion menu which I can appreciate. I had the lunch lasagna which comes with a house salad and garlic bread for less than $8. I think that's a really good value. The house salad was standard, veggies were fresh. They make a great house dressing which you can now purchase by the bottle. The garlic bread is average, good but nothing overwhelming

After hearing of this place for almost 2 years we finally were able to stop for lunch. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside under the umbrellas which was great. Service was fast and we ordered a 12" Deluxe. The pizza arrived hot and fresh and had a great flavor. I normally like really thin crust, but this was so nice and crispy that it was every bit as good as a thin crust.
Our server was super friendly and very efficient. The restaurant is not very big so I can imagine it gets very crowded during peak times. The menu has a nice variety of selections so we will be sure

This is a great spot for pizza in the downtown Oberlin area. The food and service were both excellent.
I started with a Side Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette. The salad is basic with greens, mozzarella cheese, and one cherry tomato. It is what you'd expect from a local pizza place, but the dressing was tasty. My parents and I shared a Medium Margherita Pizza. The size was perfect for a light lunch since baked goods were to follow. The pizza crust was crispy and delicious. I liked that sauce and the toppings tasted fresh. It was a very tasty pizza.
