We searched Alexandria for a great martial arts program for our daughter, and Dynamis Academy came out on top - even though there are a number of closer options to us. We are not disappointed. Master Danielle balances her many years of experience with fun and engagement for our 4 year-old. Not many things hold the attention of pre-kindergartner, but Dynamis keeps even the young ones fully engaged. We are blown away by the foundation that Master Danielle has made in the time we have been there in discipline, focus, respect, skill and mindfulness. Thank you Master Danielle and Dynamis!!

After a crazy year of virtual schooling my 6 year old son was driving me crazy. He is a super active kid that never slows down. He needed a place where he can learn self control and self esteem ( my son has problems with his speech). This is the place. Master Danielle is so patient with the Little Dragons (ages 3-6) in her care. She keeps the kids engaged, helps them with their forms, and they all have a great time. My son asks me everyday when is his next class. He loves it and I am so thankful that I found this awesome school. Oh if you are wondering if the kids wear their masks during class

Dynamis Academy is fantastic. Our daughter attends the before and after school program. She loves learning martial arts and meeting new friends. Master Danielle and her team provide a warm, structured and enriching environment. They are helping us raise a respectful, confident and strong daughter. The location is perfect too—so close to Bush Hill, Clermont, Rose Hill, Twain and Edison.

My 5 year old daughter stayed for summer camp, and she loved it! They had a lot of activities, play time, water time and learning time. She would come home with projects she created and took pride on.
I was so pleased with the service that, we signed up for their before school program.
The whole entire staff is so friendly and kids oriented. When Sophia didn't feel well, Ms. Pyne would hug her and made her feel comfortable.
As a mother i trust my kiddo to Dynamis and they do an amazing job!

If you are looking for before and after care with substance, guidance, and care - this is the place! We have been proud parents of The Dynamis Academy for couple of years now and love having our son here. We knew that the Academy had a great reputation, but it's one thing to hear about it, and it's another thing to experience it.

Our 6th grade daughter started with Dynamis Academy a few weeks ago and she loves it. The instructors are amazing, the other kids are friendly, and she really enjoys learning martial arts. It has a warm and friendly feeling, and I felt comfortable leaving her there from day one as I was sure she would get great care. I fully recommend the Academy.

My daughter attended both the aftercare and summer camp at Dynamis for 2 years. Even during Covid last summer she was able to attend camp safely and enjoy socialization. Master Danielle is very involved with not just the kids taekwondo skills but also with their character development and education. I highly recommend it.

Last summer we were desperate to find safe childcare for our 6 year old daughter during the pandemic and a friend recommended Dynamis. She attended their summer camp and we had such a great experience that she stayed for distance learning this whole school year (Dynamis provides supervision during virtual school and then taekwondo classes after the school day ends) and we will send her to camp again this summer. The facility is clean and the kids are thriving under Master Danielle's teachings. I never thought my "girly girl" daughter would like taekwondo but she loves it and is quickly mastering

We are just so blessed to of found this place! We are from NY so moving to the area has been challenging when it comes to finding the right place/fits for our family. We can't even begin to put into words about of amazing Dynamis really is! Our 7 year old joined summer camp and he's obsessed with it! They have so much to offer and they teach them so much more! Master Danielle and her team are phenomenal and this review won't do them any justice...they deserve so much accolades. They genuinely care about your children. They took my gentle soul kid under their wings and taught him to be confident. She is perhaps the best all-around instructor I've seen. I actually have my son in the Dynamis Academy for the summer right now. I must say, I couldn't ask for a better place to take my kid.
My son is on the autism spectrum, so it took me looking at 5 other summer camps before I picked them. Master Danielle, Cari, and staff are so nice, professional, and really take the time to help kids. With my son being on the spectrum, he can be difficult to deal with, but they really impress me with the way they engage with my son which makes him feel comfortable. I took my 10 year old to the summer camp and what a difference! I brought in a boy with almost no self esteem or confidence and I took home a completely different child. He is happy, excited, engaged and his confidence is soooo improved. He's shy by nature and didn't want to go but after just the first day he couldn't wait to go back! I asked him what his favorite activity was water park, movies, taekwondoe class, free time with the other kids??? his answer, "I loved everything!!!!!" Well worth the money we are hooked!

Great place to learn some new skills. I'm a military veteran and throughly enjoy the learning environment and material. Definitely recommending to fellows friends. Taking more classes here soon.

Most parents know that finding an after-school program for their child(ren) can be a daunting task. Especially if you are not able to get into the School Age Child Care (SACC) Program offered at most Fairfax County Schools. If this is you then look no further than Remarck Sport Taekwondo's MindSolutions program! There are a lot of after school programs but finding one that parents feels comfortable with and feel that their child(ren) will be safe is not an easy task. Like most parents, I worry that nothing is really ever going to be good enough for my child or safe enough. The world is a scary

AWESOME instructors - VERY KID FRIENDLY. Not intimidating, great use of older/experienced students to help break up the kids into groups of similar skill levels to practice technique. Good warm up exercises and great use of time. Owners are extremely personable - Danielle Remarck is a gem - get to know her! They were very flexible with accommodating times and the price is very reasonable compared to similar schools.

I'm a relative newbie at Taekwondo and did A LOT of research, before settling on PRST. What swayed me is that they have a good reputation and prep fighters for the Olympic team. Have been going for a few months and definitely feel that I made the right choice.
Master Lee is phenomenal -- knows everything there is to know about the sport, cares about his students and obviously loves teaching, and runs a tight ship overall. (I feel like I've found my Mr. Miagi :) Be warned -- practices are intense and take some getting used to until you build up stamina, but also give you an incredible
