Planning your wedding is one of the most important, and exciting times in your life. We want to make sure you have the best experience possible when planning your wedding cake! We schedule time for a private consultation with you and your family to give you 100% of our attention. We will guide you along, as you taste cake, pick out the size and shape you need, and design you desire.
Our cafe menu offers a small but scrumptious variety of fresh, in-house made selections! A little something for everyone: coffee & tea, smoothies, breakfast pastries, hot breakfast, salads, sandwiches, soups! All our bread is made IN HOUSE. All of our pastry doughs are made IN HOUSE. Can you tell we are proud of that!?!?!
Decorated, special occasion cakes can be simple or customized to your exact needs. There is a base price but because customized cakes are priced per cake size, flavor and decoration, pricing is made on an individual basis. In order to provide you with the freshest cake possible, we make all of our icings, fillings and cakes from scratch each week.

I visited Meringue Cake Studio on 12/3/21 and had the pleasure of being served by Maria who was so attentive and displayed amazing customer service. Thank you Maria! Also, my pastries were delicious—especially the creme brûlée, which Maria caramelized to perfection! Definitely recommend this business and I look forward to my next visit.

We've always seen this place while stopping for groceries and while driving along the road, but had never actually stopped in until we saw people raving about it on Facebook. Whenever we came to the local Aldi's to pick things up, there was always a line and people eating outside at the tables. Now we see why.

We’ve gotten desserts here before and have always been impressed with the quality. So we decided to get our son a birthday cake from here. Unfortunately, we had to postpone the party due to my daughter getting sick. They were extremely accommodating and were able to just change the date of the order. When I finally did pick up the cake, it looked amazing and tasted just as good. Everyone at the party raved about the cake and my son loved it (granted he’s 3 and easy to please). But seriously this is a great place to get a cake for any occasion and a great place to find amazing desserts. Definitely

I had stopped by here last weekend , my buddy daughter loves this place and after walking in I could see why , it has a charm to it , I had ordered avocado toast , my avocado was not looking fresh , and I didn't check my food just took it home , anyway had thrown out receipt and wasn't sure of the name of this place , today I had the opportunity to go in and talk to the manager, maybe owner Mrs Lizzy I believe, anyway she took care of my order and gave me a new order without charging me , because of her action and attentiveness to customer service which I provide daily to my clients as well in

My son and I decided to give this shop a try, its located in the perry hall strip mall, on bel air road. Not only is it a bakery, but there is almost something there to satisfy everyone's palate........ hot beverages, smoothies, breakfast pastries, hot foods and sandwiches, salads, as well as soups. Decent local, family owned bakery offering breakfast and lunch. A few small tables inside that will seat about 3 people max per table and a couple out front on the sidewalk as well. They have a gorgeous selection of desserts in the front case. Really nice people working too!

Time and time again, I haven't a clue why I search all around for a decent bakery when I have the loveliest one in my backyard! Meringue Cake Studio has been in the Perry Hall/Nottingham neighborhood for some time, now. It's the cutest bakery! You feel a warmness as soon as you walk in. The workers/bakers are nice. HOW HAVE I NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE?! This is definitely a hidden gem in Perry Hall. The quaintness, the atmosphere, and the food are outstanding. Great local artisan feel. The cafe quality is just not well publicized. So much more than a cake shop. I did see a custom cake while here that was amazing! I'm telling all my friends to come here all the time. This is going to be me my new spot. I can't wait to bring my daughter's here for a mother-daughter date ❤️

I'm in town visiting and decided to try this place since they had 5 stars and really good community reviews. As excited as I was the food was okay. I ordered a cupcake that tasted like pound cake with thick frosting and the bread on the sandwich I ordered was soggy and a bit old. Finally, I ordered an iced coffee that tasted like burnt sugar water. The price point was completely fair for a small owned shop so no complaints there, but the food fell flat. A little on the pricey side but I must admit you do get what you pay for. Most think this is just a cake or bakery spot but it's SO much more. The food is very delicious. Nice gourmet sandwiches soups and salads. I've yet to be disappointed for breakfast or lunch. The staff is pleasant to deal with too. Take your time reading the menu because it's pretty involved and creative. Yes the desserts and cakes are fantastic too but again they have so much more to good eat!!!

Our bday celebration plans to see family down south for my son's 11th birthday fell through when our cars transmission died in the street last week. So instead w got a hotel room in MD near the D&B. Son loves staying overnight at hotels. The first time I walked into the bakery, it was late Saturday afternoon i was hoping there would be a small cake for my son's bday the next day. There were 3 in the case to choose from. I bought the smallest one. It stayed in the hotel fridge overnight. I brought it out 3 hours early as to get it room temp as instructed. So here I am driving home from the doctor's office when out of my pregnant peripheral vision I spot a bakery on Belair Road. Let me tell you, I hit the most illegal u-turn ever and flew out of the car - only for the police to pull behind me a second later. The officer gets out of the car like "are you crazy? Let me first say, I was on a search for a bakery after I was advised by the one I initially went to could not do "stackable" cakes or ones with fondant. I inquired why and was told there were just too many wedding cakes the MAY be requested, meaning not scheduled yet, within the next two weeks. I was advised they could do what I asked but in buttercream. Perplexed, I left knowing this bakery would not and could not make my dream cake for my 5 year old Godson's birthday party. They just soft opened their storefront yesterday. I stopped in today, limited stock but they had enough to choose from. I ordered a ham and cheese roll, cinnamon bun and a fruit/cream cheese pastry. All three were fresh and delicious but the fruit/cream cheese pastry was the best. They also had some amazing looking desserts in the refrigerated case. I will check those out next time! The owner said there were plans for a coffee bar, which I think will be a great addition. I'd like also like to see bagels and cream cheese. Perry Hall is missing a locally owned coffee/bagel/bakery combo!
