As for a family that moved to Juneau, Alaska from the sunny state's city of San Diego, finding at least one Mexican restaurant here was incredible! We were raised on home cooked food prepared from fresh local ingredients, according to generations of family tradition.
That means, that while our team almost in half consists of our founder's family members, we're anyways one big friendly team! All of our chefs, cooks, assistants or even waiters are highly professional, extra dedicated and super friendly and hospitable! While our founder is our main chef, he's also a part of our family!
We're sure, that a restaurant can be so much more, than just a place to dine or have a lunch at!. That's why in a few recent years we've expanded a range of food-related services, which our Juneau-based Mexican restaurant offers. A full list goes as wide as to include the catering services, waiter rentals for any type of event you may be holding, or even making and delivering you a custom diet menu!.
Though Mexican food is rarely associated with a term of a "diet food", we'll be glad to denounce that wrongful notion with our vegetarian, yet nutritious diet meals per order! While it's safe to say, that absolutely any kind of an occasion, festivity or a socially important event needs food and drinks to be catered, there's now a whole multitude of cuisines that you can be choosing your caterer from.
When Manuel Juarez made a decision to move his family and his restaurant from Veracruz, Mexico to the Last Frontier state of Alaska, he made a crazy bet. The traditional Mexican recipes of his family, enhanced by fresh ingredients have made Manuel's restaurant a staple and his dishes the hit among citizens of Juneau!

I ordered via Doordash. The ordered was completed wrong. I called the restaurant and they said it was Doordash fault that they couldn't do anything. I ordered 2 tamales de elote fritos & 2 Garnachas and I got 3 boiled elotes. The restaurant said Doordash confused the order, but how ifvthe restaurant whom packed the order.

Thought I’d give this place a second chance because their food is great, it’s still great.
Costumer service was definitely way better over the phone this time. But they were way off in delivery ETA. Ordered at 5:41pm the order did not get here till 7:30pm. The lady on the phone gave me a 40 minute eta. We waited for the food 2 hours. Obviously it’s not delivery drivers fault but that’s why I called and until the call is when they said that he had many other deliveries, but that’s something they should have told me. I asked for a refund I was gonna give the

Came in to have dinner with my family, the security looked straight at me and said do you have an ID, are you going to be drinking, it was 6pm! I would understand if it was at 9pm; but at 6pm really?Second, our waitress was right behind us on her phone with no mask on! She had the nerve to keep talking to us without her mask, she even leaned closer to talk to us even when she had no mask, also walking around without it. Every time she came to check up on us she was on the phone. Then I told her the drink I wanted I don’t know how she didn’t understand me saying horchata. She seemed very slow

I normally order from here through uber eats and the food is always amazing. A few weeks ago i decided i should stop by and pick up my food myself. I should’ve left it to uber because they have the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant. Too bad the food is delicious but that experience I had rubbed me the wrong way and I definitely won’t be returning.

This place needs to be reported to better business bureau. My husband arrived to this location intoxicating and they keep selling alcohol. They charges his debit card 6 times. I never seen in my life that many transactions in one day. This place need to be called 🐀 Ratas Magico because they really steal your money. Check below
