Dr. Kurosch Hatami was born in Nurnberg, Germany and has lived in the bay area for over 31 years. After graduating from Monta Vista High School, Cupertino, he attended the University of San Francisco receiving a Bachelor degree in Biology. Dr. Hatami went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, in San Francisco.
Dr. Hatami went on to practice dentistry in the Bay Area for the last 21 years. Dr. Hatami's treatment philosophy begins and ends with preventative care. The benefits of good tissue management provide the basis for healthy supporting structures of the teeth. Healthy gums and bone have far reaching benefits to the dental and overall physical health of patients.

Preventative dentistry is the area of dentistry aimed to help people prevent oral disease and its further development. Preventative dentistry includes not just in-office dental care, but at-home treatments as well. Regular brushing - the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends brushing two times a day and directly after meals, when possible.

Today was my first time visit. It had been a very long time since I had seen a dentist (major procrastinator) so I felt embarrassed, and a little nervous too. They were awesome!!! Edgar both on the phone and in person was so helpful and kind. Helen was super friendly and explained what she was doing (lots of X-rays) and taught me something too. Finally, Dr Nasakin was great! I felt really taken care of, and I know I am in good hands. Since I procrastinated, I will need to see them again soon, but I am confident I am on the right path Highly recommend

Many reasons for this 1-star review but summarized: Dr. Galina forces unnecessary procedures and does a terrible job on them. She carried out a filling, did a terrible job, tried to re-do it, and then did an even worse job. Had to go to a new dentist to fix the teeth she ruined.

No complaints, good dental practice. Very kind, he explains everything as he goes. I like that this is a mother/son practice because back East my uncle and cousin have a dental practice together. The dentist and the front desk communicate well, I appreciate that they have some Saturday appointments. Just had a cavity filled and it was actually pretty relaxing experience. I almost took a nap, haha. I also really like Edgar, the front desk/appointment coordinator.

Not a good experience. Galina wanted me to pay right between my procedure. Then after the procedure plan given to perform unnecessary further procedures. Also Edgar at front desk will not share xrays with you. When you ask they will keep delaying it somehow or send you incorrect information. customer service as well as dental experience was not good at all. Felt cheated and they should be reported for BBB.

If you don’t have insurance and think $163 for cleaning is reasonable, I guess this is an okay place to go.
I stopped going to this place because my insurance covers two cleanings a year, and they kept insisting that I get cleaning every 4 month. Dr. Nasakin is an excellent dentist and he is thoroughly adept at his work. I had a wisdom tooth extraction and root planing done by him. The procedure went very smoothly. He explained clearly all the procedures and made sure I am okay with everything. What impressed me most is his awesome attitude and overall outlook on dental health. Highly recommended!

Dr. Mikhail is pretty amazing, and so is the staff. I went in yesterday for an initial check up (new patient) and it was probably the most thorough check up I've had. Tori, the dental assistant, and the front desk receptionist, Lisa, are also beyond friendly.

I dealt with severe dental pain for two years as a result of Dr. Galina's treatment. She overlooked an abnormality of my bite -- upper jaw is wider than the lower one. She installed 5 crowns and messed with my bite even more! As the result I could not chew, close my mouth normally, teeth and joints were in pain!

Dr. Nasakin has been our family dentist for over fifteen years. We are extremely happy with her care. Dr. Nasakin is a very skillful, caring and experienced doctor. The office is very clean and she has state of art equipment. The office staff is friendly and professional.

Had a really bad experience here and these are the reasons.
1) Very disorganized. They booked me and my husband for the same spot and told one of us to wait. And while I was waiting, a customer was served before me even though I was there half an hour earlier. Ended up spending 3 hours waiting. Almost got my car towed.
2) The dentist did not do any of the cleaning himself. The hygienist who actually did the basic cleaning and measuring is apparently quite bad at the job that the doctor ended up having to teach her how to do it. Given all these, the dentist managed to say in my face that she is

I advise our employees in Human Resources Benefits annually and decided to explore my Delta Dental last year and found Dr. Michael Nasakin through my providers list. I hadn't been to the dentist in almost two years so was a little worried on my condition but he did a thorough exam and explained all the issues in December and within a couple of months all my problem areas are now in recovery! This is my main dental office for many years - probably, 10 or more... going there regularly for all my dental needs. For a long time, my teeth were well taken care of by Dr. Galina Nasakin, to my general satisfaction. For the last year or so, my doctor is Mikhail Nasakin, and I have nothing but good words for him - this young but obviously well-educated and knowledgeable professional is a very thorough and attentive doctor.
Despite the fact that trips to this office now take much longer for me, as I don't work near it anymore, I still stick to it and am happy to come back every time. Thank you

One of the worst dentists I have ever seen. Painful, very humiliating experience - she has no regard for any qualms you have. Instead of a good caring dentist, she just smashes around in your mouth without any consideration. I told her that I have slight anxiety about my visit, and she brushed it off with the waive of a hand. I am not one to nitpick, but when you bring me a list of things wrong with me that no other dentist has found, it starts to smell fishy. Avoid this place if you can!
