Coastal Route from Portland, ME (85 Miles): Take I-295 North to exit 28 to Route 1 North (Brunswick/Coastal Route 1). Follow Route 1 North to Route 90 East just north of Waldoboro. Follow Route 201 into Gardiner and stay straight over the bridge. At the end of the bridge, turn right then take the next left onto Route 226.

We have stayed at the Camden River House several times over the years, and we were so happy to get back there this year. It is a lovely hotel, with the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet, a great buffet breakfast, and the absolutely best location: right on the river, and right in downtown Camden. We usually stay in one of their dog friendly rooms, but this time we stayed in the yellow cottage, and it is really something special. The weather was mild enough that we could sit on our deck and watch the river while we ate breakfast. So relaxing. And so wonderful to be able to bring our dog with us

We loved our room and the vibe from the staff and property was wonderful! I made the mistake of booking dates online a week later than I thought. So when we showed up a week early they still got us right in and accommodated my mistake gracefully and kindly..we will always stay there when visiting Camden ❤

The Camden Riverhouse Hotel was amazing. It was so cute and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a very nice bonus. They also have smores when it's not raining. Location was perfect with an easy walk into town. Would stay there again if I'm ever in Camden again.

I loved hearing the rooster that was in Camden, reminded me of home. Also Lori is a great employee had great knowledge of restaurants and great places to go. The guy who takes care of the property was also great with places to go!! I love to eat where the locals go, because its usually the best food and great fun learning about the town and meeting new people. 😍😍😊😊😊😎😎😎

I enjoyed our stay there a lot. Staff was super friendly and helpful. When we checked out they gave us some sunflower seeds to plant when we got home , which I thought was a nice personal touch. Although we didn't swim while we were there there was a inside heated pool. Location was great, could easily walk to every thing. Room was clean and comfortable and the water pressure was fantastic.

This is the perfect location right in the middle of the action in Camden! We were only there one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the charming town! We loved all the gardens and flowers surrounding the entry area and all around the parking lot and walking bridge they were all in full bloom and beautiful! Check in was very easy with a lovely young lady checking us in. The room was very nice, the bed was comfy, they did have a great selection of cable channels! Breakfast was awesome! A very good selection! We did not take part of the s’mores but we walked out back and there
