The Country Inn At Camden Rockport
Mid-Coast Maine has been a long time destination of travelers - looking to experience amazing fall colors, explore beautiful shorelines, take in the salty sea air from a schooner, and enjoy the quaint and idyllic nature of historic Camden & Rockport Maine. Where the mountains meet the sea, you'll find some of the best of what mid-coast Maine has to offer in the towns of Camden, Rockport, Rockland, and Lincolnville.

You'll find Camden Hills State Park and Laite Memorial Beach. And in the middle of it all, you'll find The Country Inn at Camden Rockport. Our country inn has been serving the area for over 60 years as a complete tourist destination. It is our joy and privilege to help you experience the amazing corner of the earth that we call "home".
Services
At The Country Inn at Camden Rockport, our number one priority is our guests. We pride ourselves on attentive and hospitable service and making sure our guests have space and comfort to relax and unwind at our mid-coast Camden Maine hotel. We love welcoming guests to where the mountains meet the sea and sharing our favorite haunts while hearing about their own amazing experiences.
In 1954, Marion Village opened on U.S. Route 1 between Camden and Rockport, Maine. Originally, it was 10 cabins set back from the main road with a large swimming pool and a restaurant. Billboards could be seen from Bath to Bucksport advertising the home-baked bread served in Marion Village. After several decades and several changes of ownership, the property had fallen into neglect and a change was needed.
It is our joy and privilege to serve guests and to be a part of our beautiful Maine coast community. We look forward to hearing from you and answering your questions, helping with a reservation, or anything else you may get into contact with us about. Below, you will find our address, phone number, email address, GPS directions, and general driving directions.
Where the mountains meet the sea, you'll find the idyllic, mid-coast Maine experience you've been looking for. Our 36 main house rooms and suites are open year-round and our 11 individual cottages are open May through October. Each room, suite, and cottage comes with a complimentary country breakfast buffet.
In the main house of our Camden/Rockport hotel you'll find 36 rooms which are available year-round. Each room was designed with our guests' comfort in mind and is decorated in a simple country style. Guests staying in the main house will enjoy the proximity of the inn's amenities - the complimentary country-style breakfast each morning, the spa, fitness center, and indoor heated pool.

We stayed for a week with our dogs. It was so easy to have them at the Inn. The pet friendly rooms are all on the 1st floor and they provide a dog bed, bowls, dog towel, and snacks. The beds are very comfortable and the room has a classic feel. We loved that they had real keys. The breakfast was set up properly to meet covid restrictions. They had to-go stuff it was nice. They also have a really nice pool and hot tub.

This was our first time here and we loved it. I planned this trip for my boyfriend for Columbus Day weekend and we had a fantastic time. We loved the cozy cottage we stayed in. The breakfast was good and it wasn’t over the top. It was a 4 hour drive from Massachusetts but we usually drive far for vacations so that wasn’t an issue. Definitely would recommend.

This was our first stay here and we will def be back. The location is great as it’s right in between 2 cities, but far enough away you don’t deal with any of it. Your hrs within Bar Harbor if you want to do the typical tourist visit. Plus there are great small towns all around. We recommend stopping by Belfast and visiting the old theatre there, quite an experience.
We stayed in one of the cabins which was great. It’s quiet and slightly separated from the rest of the place. We got to enjoy the room with fireplace which was a nice touch. During fall / winter it’s highly recommended.

Great place to stay. Loved their soaps. Their beds were so comfortable that when we got home we ordered a new mattress. I slept the best when we were there. Their breakfast was amazing too. We will stay there again for sure.

This was our last stop on our Honeymoon doing the coast of Maine. We went to check in early but our room wasn't ready. They upgraded us to a cottage which was very nice , cozy and quaint. Breakfast was great and fresh. Enjoyed hanging in the hot tub for a bit as well. The Inn was very clean and well maintained. Would definitely go back here in the future. Scott

One of the rare places where the actual place is just as nice if not nicer than the photos. Stayed in one of their cabins which was cozy yet spacious; loved that there was a little area setup for our pup and they even had a bed, food bowls, and a treat for her. There’s also a community dog park nearby. The breakfast was good and the pool/jacuzzi was quiet and relaxing. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. All the staff were very friendly and the information we needed for our stay was clearly written out on their info sheet they provided at check in. Would definitely stay again

Very nice accommodations. Overall very happy even though there were some sticking points. Room was clean. Staff was great for the most part. Other than the first day I couldn't get my wife a sandwich with no cheese. The next day they were able to do it. Plus they didn't give our kids breakfast slips even though they made a big stink about us having them listed as guest specifically for food count so I found that very odd. On the last day they finally gave us a food slip for them. but nothing really made up for first few days. Pool is very nice and new and hot tub is great. Pool temp very cold could
