I have been seeing Dawn since I gave birth to my son almost two years ago. A few of the things working with Dawn has helped me with include: making sense of new motherhood/ postpartum, being a working mother, hanging on to my own identity and beyond. She’s easy to talk to and often offers additional resources such as articles related to the discussed topics during our sessions. She has provided me with so much language to help me navigate my relationships as well as my own inner dialogue/ critic.

Five stars for our therapist, Dawn, who my husband and I have seen regularly since the Fall of 2019. We came to Dawn during a pretty low point in our relationship and since working with her we are better at communicating, recognizing and advocating for our own needs in the relationship, and so much more. We've had such a positive experience that my husband and I joke that going to see Dawn is a crucial part of our marriage's "regular maintenance." I highly recommend Hillary Counseling, and seeing Dawn specifically through this practice.

Lisa is absolutely amazing! She was my therapist for a few years while I lived in Milwaukee. I have constantly referred to my sessions with her as a massage for my emotions.
She provided me tools to navigate my feelings, and a safe and unbiased space to figure out my boundaries, frustrations, anxiety and successes. Although I moved at the end of last year, if it wasn’t for the tools I learned from Lisa, I don’t think I would have handled all the hardships I had to deal with moving, an extremely challenging pregnancy, difficult delivery and transition into motherhood.
Thank you Lisa from the

I have had the privilege of working with Lisa twice over the past two years, once for issues with body image and the second for anxiety. I felt completely comfortable sharing everything with her, felt that she was a great listener and receptive to what I had to say, and provided excellent feedback. Her “homework” was (mentally) challenging at times, but always rewarding. I can honestly say I had the BEST experience with her, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a well qualified, compassionate, and trustworthy therapist. Easily a 5 star rating in my book!

I think anyone would agree that it’s necessary to have a reliable, compassionate, intelligent, empathetic person who will listen and tell you what you need to hear. Lisa has been one of these people to me for years now, and is someone I would highly recommend for her professional counseling services!

I started seeing Lisa while I was having severe anxiety and panic attacks. I was frustrated that I could not get in to see any mental health professional through my insurance for months. A friend recommended Lisa and I called her that day. I was able to get an appointment with Lisa the next day! I was relieved. Lisa is kind, caring, and welcoming. She is not judgmental. We set up goals on my first visit and I was given homework. I really worked hard to manage my anxiety and Lisa gave me the strategies to succeed. Her schedule was flexible and I never had an issue scheduling an appointment. I have

I have been seeing Lisa for almost four years for disordered eating and anxiety. I will admit, it was not my choice to see her or anyone in the first place, but it was my choice to keep going back and she made that an easy decision every time. Going to sessions with Lisa always left me feeling better than when I went in.
The advantage of seeing Lisa is that it's never been a roller coaster between sessions. She gives you concrete tools that you can practice and work on. The sessions are a strong, necessary foundation, but Lisa's exercises and resources are what I used to build my life back up
