Mad Hatter offers a large variety of menus. As well as options to meet special dietary needs including: gluten free, vegan & vegetarian. Below is a small selection of our offerings. We have a passion for themed parties and creating one of a kind experiences. Please contact us to see a full list of our menus and prices or inquiry about special or custom requests.
What do your packages include? All of our packages include, service staff, chaffing dishes, serving ware, disposable plates, napkins, buffet set-up, restocking of buffet, buffet tear down and bussing of disposable ware from tables. When do you need my final headcount? You have up until 2 weeks prior to your event to give final headcount and make any changes to menu items.

We have used the Mad Hatter for two of our children’s weddings. The food is fabulous and presented beautifully. I am dairy free and Matt set aside a plate for me to accommodate my needs. Also at the last minute our weather changed from hot to cold and Matt offered us free coffee service as all our drinks were cold. He goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Thank you Matt. We will use your service again and would recommend you to anyone.

I've personally never had catered food that although comforting, was so well crafted that it could easily have been served in any of the countless 5 star restaurants that I've patroned.
I would definitely consider myself a "Foodie" so let me tell you about the salmon... it was far and away the absolute best flavored and most perfectly cooked salmon I've ever had!

Mad Hatter and owner Matt catered our daughter’s wedding on 7/10/21! What a fantastic caterer! Matt and his team did an incredible job. The food was tasty with beautiful presentation and we didn’t even know he was there! The wedding was happening and he just worked behind the scenes to pull off a lovely meal for 150 people! Matt and his team were incredibly organized and professional from the start and guided us through the entire process easily. Brought a group to Vancouver for meetings and wanted to host a dinner at a winery. We ended up at Windy Hills Winery - a beautiful and welcoming venue. They suggested Mad Hatter and I'm so glad they did! Matt's dinner was the most delicious meal in a week of meals! This was the all-round opinion. The mac and cheese & steak add-on were particularly fantastic. I wish I lived in the area so I'd have the opportunity to eat his delicious food again!

Matt Hatter Catering is probably the best catering choice in all of Portland and Washington area. Matt is extremely professional, kind, and flexible to make sure your event is spectacular. Matt and his wife provided 3 party meals for my moms 87th birthday. The food was delicious and the white chocolate cake and tres leche birthday cakes were oh so light and tasty. They made two deliveries very promptly and set up was effortless. We appreciate so much how flexible and accommodating they were because of the weather. We will definitely hire them next time.

I am so pleased with the service, quality and execution from Mad Hatter catering! We originally booked them for our full size wedding in August... when COVID hit, we had to drastically change plans and hold a much smaller wedding in our backyard in Tigard. Matt was so accommodating! He adjusted our quote to the number of people we would need, gave us tons of recommendations that were within our budget and was so friendly. On the day of, the food arrived exactly at 4:30, as we had scheduled, and was delivered and set up flawlessly! We had the BBQ package with sides, pulled pork and chicken. The

I have used the Mad Hatter Catering twice now and am so impressed by everything they do. There is no compromise in their product - the set up is amazing and the food is delicious. They are extremely easy to work with and so kind. Matt came to pick up his equipment at the end of one of my events and he even pitched in and started vacuuming even though I insisted that he didn't. His reply? I don't want to leave this mess from the food for you. Most caterers wouldn't care once the event is over. These folks go above and beyond - you won't be disappointed!

I was originally referred to Mad Hatter from a friend. I have since used them for 5 different events. Most recently we had a party to celebrate my partners US citizenship with 200 of our closest friends and family. From the start of our idea for the party Matt was awesome to work with creating a menu that fit the occasion.
While their food is fantastic. Hint , make sure to tell Matt to put a couple plates aside for you, because your guest will eat it all. The thing I love just as much is the ease at which they work the party. It's like they aren't even there but everything is done perfectly

Let me start my saying that there are a lot of choices out there for catering companies and I will never use anyone else but Mad Hatter Catering!!! Talk about going above and beyond!!! We had an outdoor wedding on a 100 degree day! Not only was the food beyond my expectations but Matt, Riley and their entire team went beyond what was required of them! Not only did they keep the food replenished but they walked around checking on our guest and refilling drinks!! The presentation was beyond my expectations! The food was absolutely phenomenal and at the end of the day several of our guests
