Using both classical and contemporary methods, Dawn Pilates Studio teaches safe methods to increase core strength, and improve posture - all in support of long term health and wellness! A time-tested form of exercise, Pilates uses the principles of concentration, breath, control, centering, precision, and flow.
These principles, in conjunction with proven, movement-based bio mechanics, maximize the ability to achieve fitness one's goals. Generally, physical lifestyles today lack balance and a mind-body connection. Pilates builds strong physical foundations that become the core of increased self-awareness.

Services
Enjoy 5 group classes of your choice each month. A great option for those who are just getting into a new workout routine and want to start slow, or those who are already participating in other forms of sports/activities and wish to supplement and cross-train with pilates, barre, and/or suspension training.
Foundational classes such as our introductory class and Essential Level 1 are an appropriate starting point for new Dawn Pilates students, and those recovering from injury or illness. These Foundational classes provide a safe and effective introduction to apparatus and props, while strengthening and lengthening the entire body.

I had never taken a Pilates class in a studio using the Reformer and the many other tools that Dawn Pilates Studio has to offer. The classes I have been attending are both relaxing and energizing. I actually look forward to working out! I love this studio and Brande is a wonderfully patient & kind instructor!

Dawn Pilates Studio has quickly become one of my favorite places. Iβve been attending the earliest morning class (on class 28 now), and itβs such a refreshing way to start my mornings - meditating on my breaths, waking up my body and getting a great sweat, always.
The instructors pay very close attention to form, which keeps us safe and they are also super easy to talk to, even to discuss any discomfort that we might be having.
The studio is kept tidy and clean and even during Covid, I feel safe and relaxed.
Love this place and happy to call it one of my βhomesβ away from home. π§‘

Dawn Pilates is the most beautiful and affordable Pilates studio in the area. They really cater to the individual client's needs and are passionate about what they do. Everlea, the director of education is absolutely fabulous! I am currently getting my Pilates certification through her at Dawn Pilates and she is so thorough and very accommodating. I love this studio!!

I have been attending sessions at this studio for 4 months now and I really enjoy them. My instructor, Brande, is great. She makes the sessions fun (except for the elephant!) and she is able to adapt the exercises to my ability level. I must say that my time in the studio has been better for my body than the months I spent going to physical therapy and I will keep going to Pilates at Dawn Pilates in Virginia Beach (actually Chesapeake).
