If you're considering estate planning, at Mahoney Law Office you'll find our experienced attorney and staff compassionate, understanding and attentive to your wishes. Who you want to leave your assets to and who you want acting as guardian of your minor children. In Arizona, If you die without having a will, it's called dying intestate. This means that the state laws will govern who receives your assets. This can have an often-times surprising result if you are remarried with children from a previous relationship.
A Living Will states that you do not wish to be kept alive artificially. It releases your doctors from liability in the event the decision is made to pull the plug. It takes 2 doctors acting together to make this decision. The doctors then consult the agent named in your Health Care Power of Attorney.
Did you recently relocate to Arizona from another state? An essential part of this move is to remember to have your estate plan reviewed by a qualified estate planning attorney in your area. Mahoney Law Office frequently reviews estate planning documents for clients who have moved to Arizona from other states to ensure that the documents comply with Arizona law.
A Health Care Power of Attorney is where you name an individual, your agent, to make health care decisions for you if you are unable to make those decisions on your own. A properly drafted Health Care Power of Attorney will also allow for your agent to have you admitted to a Level One nursing care facility in the event you have Alzheimer's or dementia and are unable to make that decision on your own.

Initial meeting went well and look forward to working with them on our Trust Document. Left copies of documents and promised feedback in a few weeks. After 6 weeks with no response followed up and promised response in few weeks and here we are six weeks later and still waiting. A waste of my time and very unprofessional way to run a business. Not a fan and would strongly recommend some place else for estate planning, plus should refund initial consulting fee for wasting my time.

This is my second time having to use Mahoney Law Office services.
They are great people, and do everything they can to help you get your will or trust situated.
On my first visit several years ago, it was just a basic Living Will.
This visit was needed for not only an update, but converting over to a Trust.
They were able to provide me a lot of valuable information, and they took care of me in a one-on-one environment.
They are by appointment only. So, be sure to call and schedule before showing up.
