David is one of the premier and most widely recognized strength and conditioning coaches in the United States. He has personally trained literally hundreds of professional athletes in over 40 sports, including Nick Bellore of the Detroit Lions, Aaron Palushaj of the Philadelphia Flyers, and Super Bowl Champions Frank Zombo of the Kansas City Chiefs and Haloti Ngata of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Michigan Elite Conditioning for Athletes is a state of the art personal training facility that houses some of the best strength training equipment in the world. In 2015, MECA teamed up with Tri-Covery Massage and Flexibility to create a one-of-a kind performance and recovery center in Novi, Michigan.
The advantage of training at MECA is that we write specific training programs for you, monitor your progress with a daily training log, and have the best trainers and gym equipment in the State of Michigan to help you perform in the gym which will translate into sport or life. I would highly recommend MECA. The staff and facilities are top notch. I came to MECA to help strengthen my past and current injuries. Leanne has been rehabbing me slowly, back to being able to move better and feeling great. She is so attentive and knowledgeable. Leanne teaches you proper technique and ensures you keep perfect form throughout your training session. She is very patient and personable. If you are someone with injuries or anyone who wants to feel good and get into shape, do yourself a favor and join MECA.

Getting up at 5am
Never felt so good!
I have finally found a gym that makes me feel like I can strengthen my muscles without getting hurt.
My chiropractor recommended Meca gym to me after having neck issues, at that time I could not lift my mattress to make our bed.
My personal trainer Mitch Berger has been an amazing asset in accomplishing my goals of not only losing body fat but strengthening the muscles to correct my neck. He makes my workout interesting every week so I do not get bored, while explaining the areas we will be targeting. The workout is definitely Physical, yet I cannot believe

I have been working out at MECA for about three years. My current trainer is Sean. I have my share of infirmities, but Sean designs the workout to either improve those infirmities or work around them. I have a five year old Thoroughbred that I ride and I could not do that if I hadn't started training at MECA. Sean has worked on my core and legs so that I can ride strong. I enjoy life so much more now that I strength train.

MECA training is the best individual training programs I have ever been a part of. I am a college football player who had a knee injury and I came to MECA post season for two weeks in hopes of only strengthening my upper body. I worked with John and the results were outstanding. I not only lost 3% body fat, but I also returned to school in the best shape of my life. John rehabed my knee back healthy and i gained a significant amount of strength, stability, and confidence in my knee to be able to perform at a high level. I highly recommend MECA and Matt as a trainer. I started about 9 months ago, as part of a post-rehab effort to build strength in my legs. I had knee surgery 20 years ago, and had another procedure last year. My doctor told me the next step was a knee replacement. I decided to give strength training a try to see if that could help me. Matt built me a tailored plan to get me to a point where I am more confident with my knee in the 20 years since my original surgery. I've now added goals, and have signficantly increased my muscle mass, and dropped fat in the process. I appreciate how Matt holds me

I Started MECA back in October, and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. All the staff are super friendly and very welcoming. My Trainer/Coach is Raquel; she knows when to push me, and she is very encouraging. She is really knowledgeable with technique and form. She can make changes on my form to get the most out of my workouts. She holds me accountable with my nutrition and cardio. I have been training at MECA for about a month now, and I have made so much progress in these few weeks. My knees feel better than they have in years, and I feel stronger that I have ever felt. By FAR the best facility in Michigan!! Let me confess I have never felt very comfortable in a gym, but Meca has been one of the best choices I have ever made. Every trainer is incredibly educated and knowledgeable about training, nutrition and rehabilitation. The workout plans are personally written and implemented based on your own personal goals. I came to MECA after having my second child and wanting to tone up and improve my strength. Being tired of your typical gym setting and not getting the results I wanted, I decided to step out and try something different. I am SO GLAD I did! I have been training with John for almost 8 weeks now and he is amazing! I have a question regarding anything (exercise, nutrition, sleep, etc), he has an answer. He brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to what he does. John wastes no time in the hour I train. I did extensive research on personal trainers in the area before deciding on MECA and I can confidently say this gym is the best. The management team and coaches are exceptional. Everyone is professional, polite, and friendly; but above all, they are very knowledgeable and their training programs are specifically designed to address the needs of each particular client.
