I am a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach. I received a Bachelor's degree with honors from Eastern Michigan University with a major in Physical Education (Strength and Conditioning focus) and a minor in Health Education. In 2003, I began my career in fitness and I have always made a point to stay informed on the latest research and on the cutting edge of exercise science to continue to deliver the best results to my clients.
I have had the privilege of working in general fitness centers, sports performance facilities, in clients' homes, and corporate fitness facilities. I design and implement safe individualized fitness programs for individuals, small groups, classes, sports teams, and corporate groups. I work with all ages from kids to seniors.

If you want to workout with a friend(s), spouse, partner, etc. I have multiple options for group training, please contact me with any questions or requests. Pricing and session lengths vary. I offer a class option that is an invigorating total body workout. The class includes spinning, kettlebells, battle ropes, TRX exercises, balance, core, and flexibility.

Nick and I began training in 2010 a year after I graduated high school. I was 310 pounds and stubborn with the idea that I was capable of loosing weight and had no knowledge on weight loss or working out. As time would tell, I lost my first 20 pounds with Nick after just 8 months on a two day a week workout schedule and diet adjustment.
I'm happy to say that Nick helped me loose over 100 pounds in the two years that we trained together. I continued to train with him to build muscle and learn better weight lifting techniques. He also has a spin class on Saturdays which is an intense fat burning

I’ve been with Nick for just over a year. I am 57 and had allowed myself to drift physically to the point where ailments were becoming troublesome and weight was uncomfortable. Nick provides the direction, motivation, and the drive needed to consistently show up at the gym and get through the initial difficult phase until results start to become evident. Nick looks for feedback, is always encouraging the process and is flexible with schedule to encourage maximum motivation. I have lost about 25# fat and gained about 10# muscle - ailments disappeared long ago and am excited to continue the progress

I’ve been training with Nick for over 10 years now. I started as a middle aged client and will now soon be a “senior” client. Nick has altered my workouts through the years to accommodate a series of orthopedic injuries and surgeries. He also inquires as to how I’m feeling and changes my workouts as needed.

I have worked with Nick Cabatuan for about 10 years. I am not an athlete. I work in an office at a desk or in meetings, so I live a pretty sedate lifestyle. Nick is an outstanding trainer. He is also kind, funny, patient, and professional.
I have been working with Nick for over a year and am amazed at the increase in my stamina and strength. I never thought I would feel this good at this age.
Nick tailors our sessions to complement my other workouts. He challenges me to push myself without hurting myself. Nick varies the workouts by week and uses all that our gym has to offer. I am no longer intimidated by any of the machines, weights, bars, ropes, etc.
