Just had DiLeo's cater a 50 person party last night- and the food was outstanding and reasonably priced! Highly recommend the Chicken Vesuvio, Penne pasta with vodka sauce, Stuffed shells, and especially the Anna Maria Pizza bread! We always enjoy our take out and delivery orders so we thought we would take a chance on the catering. We're so glad we did-It was excellent!

I'm from NJ and was just looking for a good Italian place to order chicken Alfredo from. Since I live 30 minutes from NYC in the Princeton area, I'm used to eating fresh homemade Alfredo. The Alfredo I received from here was definitely not that. It tasted almost exactly like a frozen dinner you heat up from the grocery store and was very bland. The chicken was obviously store bought frozen, the noodles tasted like they were microwaved. I ordered mezze penne (which everywhere in the tri state area we literally just call penne) and they gave me some kind of weird smooth cylindrical soggy noodles

I'm a mailman and I've been to a lot of business and this is by far is the best one I've ever visited. they have amazing pizza pasta and chicken. And it's not even close. the customer service is through the roof and I would highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a good affordable meal that tastes out of this world! Highly recommended

Today we ordered a BLT and a Chicken flatbread sandwich. When ordering the flatbread I asked for no mayo and for the lettuce on the side. The flatbread came smoothered in mustard and had onion on it. No where on the menu does it say mustard onion on the sandwiches. It does state that the burgers do, but NOT the sandwiches. The bacon on the BLT was either raw or over cooked. I called the manager who was absolutely rude and advised that next time we should order it plain. I am not sure I will be ordering again from DiLeo's wish I could be more positive, but this was an unbelievable experience.

This is the second time I have been to Dileos and was disappointed.
There is nothing great about the food.
Dileos menu is set up so that when you order just a sandwhich. No fries, Cole slaw, salad and anything else that you dont want you will still pay for it.
This is their way of digging deeper into your wallet all the time wether you like it or not but they dont tell you that.
I wont be back.

We ordered breasted chicken, baked mosticcoli, penne with olive oil & peas and cannoli for 40 ppl for my daughters recent graduation party. I picked it up on a Saturday at 1:30 and they were busy. The owners were there and working their tails off. Even though they were real busy they had time for polite talk and big smiles. The food was delicious and was a good price. I definitely recommend this family run restaurant in Elmhurst. Thank you DiLeo’s!

Do not order from these people as they clearly are money hungry greedy people that own or the manager (women) they received a $70 Uber eats order that was fraud called and had Uber eats cancel it and they went ahead and went out of their way to google the address find the home owner which was not the person that placed the order.. called them complaining that they had food wasting away. Because they already made it which is impossible because I called within 5 mins to get a refund

Since finding this somewhat hidden gem, DiLeo's Pizzeria in Elmhurst, I've been singing their praises ever since. It's not only the customer service, the fast delivery or even the menu. It's that they do everything by hand, scratch made with the food. I'll give you a "for instance".
First, most "side salads" with other restaurants are an after thought. They toss one in as a door prize. DiLeo's includes a Dinner Salad with many entree items and a great deal of care goes into those salads. Today I went to the restaurant to get a pair of dinner salads

I was told 45 minutes for delivery for my lunch order. Over 95 minutes later it arrives cold. I called the restaurant the woman that answered yelled at me for asking when the order would arrive saying they were busy and had other orders before mine. Why tell me the delivery time is 45 minutes...

Ordered from Dileoa a few times. Enjoying the Papa Ds pizza, i. e. Italian beef and giardiniera. This time I couldn’t continue, there was a hair in the pie. I called and talked to Theresa, who assured me that it’s a bristle from an oven brush. It sure doesn’t look like one. I have texted her a picture of the “hair”. I await an answer and picture of this brush.
I hope that I am wrong so I can edit my review. We will see...
Here’s the picture of the brush. I’m skeptical, but Theresa is refunding me the cost of the pizza. So I’ll add a start for service.

Bad customer service! Waited 12-15 minutes for two slices of pizza and fries. Got home and the fries were missing. Drove back and was told sorry and then waited 10 minutes for fries. A slice of cake would have been nice for the inconvenience. Instead got home to a cold pizza, wasted my time and fuel. Delivery drivers sit inside with masks down.

I rarely give one-star reviews, but the food from here was so disappointing, I am compelled to share with fellow Yelpers to warn them away so they can save money!
This review is based on a recent grubhub order (fall 2020).
None of the food was good- I got pizza, pasta, and chocolate cake. I ordered a margarita pizza, expecting thin crust Neopolitan style, and it was THE WORST margarita pizza I've ever had. The crust was dense, bland bread, that wasn't even baked all the way: a far cry from chewy, crispy, bubbled pizza crust of a traditional margarita pizza. Also, the cheese and sauce

First time trying this spot...our corporate office recently moved in to the Elmhurst area and me and another co-worker wanted to give it a try. I ordered the Jumbo sausage slice...basically a large piece of pizza cut into 3 or 4 smaller slices. Did not hit the spot....Pizza was bland and dry, just complete lack of flavor. Maybe the other food is good, but Pizza was very disappointing....maybe will give another shot with other menu items.

Loved this place immediately when I first walked in and noticed the guy behind the counter taking extra time with an older customer.....service is still the deal breaker to me.
That said...ordered an Italian beef and fries and a gyro plate. Beef was immense! Not a lot a seasoning in the meat but completed my taste for one. The gyro plate was also plenty. So go with an appetite.

Ordered the Mother's Day package for a 5:30 pick-up based on a recommendation from a neighbor who is related to the owners. The package sounded really great for the money. I decided to cancel the order after waiting for forty-five minutes and their not being able to tell me when my order would be ready. They were very busy and some of the other customers seemed to not understand social distancing or the need for face masks so I spent most of that waiting time outside. There were as many as ten of us waiting at any one time in a very confined space. Perhaps they should have limited the

Family owned. BIG menu. We enjoy their beef sandwich. We used them for a catering party. They came and set up-- even sent over a few free pizzas-- which in hindsight was what everyone really ate up!
We stopped by last night and they were walking out. They went back in and made us a beef. Above and beyond!
They will bring your delivery out to your car.

We had pep and sausage pizza along with some cheesy garlic bread. The staff was very friendly. The pizza was good. I would say it could use more meat and sauce and less cheese. We are pizza snobs so us calling this pizza good says something. It wasn't the best pizza we have had but was good. The cheesy garlic bread ok not the best and it cost to much. I wouldn't order this again. If I'm the area again we would come back.

This is my 5th time here I must be a glutton for punishment , Arriabiatta is spiced with jalepeno not red chili or red pepper flakes , Alfredo is bland as it gets , rigatoni and penne are the same noodle here , Italian sausage is horrible tasting , the garlic bread is unlike any that I've ever had , and not in a good way , just butter and slices of garlic
I think the only decent thing here is the chicken and smashed potatoes

Ordered delivery from DiLeo's through Uber eats. It is always a crap shoot with pizza and delivery when you are unfamiliar with an area. I have to say the food was wonderful. The Margherita Pizza (a go to for me and everyone makes it different it seems) was super fresh and really delicious. I ordered the fried cauliflower out of curiosity and it was very good. Finally, I could not resist ordering cannoli for dessert... it was SO good. I would say you can't go wrong with this pizza joint -- their menu had some great variety, so when I am back in the area I will definitely order from

Affordable, quick and friendly delivery service, DiLeo's was a solid choice for pizza night. And if you love cheese, this is the pizza for you! Seriously, this was probably the cheesiest thin crust I've ever had. It felt like I was just shoving rich, salty cheese into my gullet which quickly overpowered the measly sausage also on the pizza. The reason for the three stars for me was that the sauce didn't taste very saucy to me. It reminded me of tomato paste because it was a little sour/bitter. The thin crust thickness was about the size of a triscuit and only existed as a platform
