A Touch of Elegance has been in business serving Montvale and all its surrounding towns since 1992. Situated at 136 South Pearl Street in Pearl River, NY. Owner Antoinette DiPierro knows the dry cleaning business as well as anyone. She learned the craft from her mother, Angie, who was a dry cleaner beginning in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, years ago.

Antoinette was friendly and a pleasure to work with. I've never had alterations done before but Antoinette explained everything and helped me with a last minute alteration before a wedding. I came in with a dress that did not fit my body shape and completely fell off my shoulders. Although the dress wasn't the easiest to work with due to the type of material it was and how much it had to be taken it, Antoinette somehow made it work and I felt great in the dress. I appreciated her professional recommendations and that she was able to work with my schedule. Overall, it was a great experience!

I purchased a dress for a wedding I was attending and didn’t like the way it looked on me. I was told about Antoinette and immediately called. She was pleasant, understanding, and very quick to help me. She knew exactly what to do to improve the way the dress would look. She made me feel better before the dress was even fixed. When I picked up my dress and tried it on, it was perfect. She made it perfect for my body and comfortable! She is very professional and we will be going back again.

This little shop is a gem of a find!!! Not only do they do a phenomenal job cleaning (my clothes never have that" dry cleaning smell" ) but they provide expert tailoring as well! I needed something done last minute and they were able to accommodate me, as well as provide a comfortable yet professional experience. I was able to make an appointment for a fitting, and Antoinette made sure my dress fit perfectly in time for my special event. I recommend this business highly!

I was referred to Antoinette from a friend who has used her for years, and she did not disappoint! I came in a major time crunch, after procrastinating a bridesmaid dress fitting. The dress didn’t fit at all, and I truly thought a panel would need to be put in. I went to 4 other tailors before being referred to Antoinette who all told me to either get a new dress or that I would need scraps of the same fabric to put in a panel. I got the scraps and brought them to Antoinette, very panicked. She remained calm, told me the dress was completely fixable and not to worry. She in turn, eased my stress

I am genuinely impressed with Antoinette and her business. I took my bridesmaid dress there to be altered and pressed and was met with such friendliness. Truthfully the dress I took in was a bit poorly constructed from the beginning. Somehow the tailor and owner went above and beyond to make my dress wearable. I walked out of there thrilled with my experience. I would recommend this place anyday to anyone!

Love this place! I had never gotten alterations done before so I was a little scared in general. As soon as I walked in Antoinette and her team were amazing! Explained everything and put me at ease. Everyone was so nice and friendly! Plus my dress was perfect and on time! If you didn't know how awesome they are you do now!

The hotel recommended this cleaner when we had to have our daughter's bridesmaid's gown altered the evening before the wedding (she had just flown in from Europe and had never even seen the gown, let alone tried it on). They called their tailor back in and got the work done (very well) earlier than promised, and their charge was reasonable. We can't say enough about their service.
