Inspired by St. Damien of Moloka'i, a member of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Damien High School, an all-boys Catholic school, develops men of Service, Scholarship, and Faith, prepared to engage in a global society. Love our Spartan Faculty and Administration. You did an outstanding job on transitioning our boys to remote learning and I trust wholeheartedly your plans for 20-21 school year.
Thank you and God Bless you! Damien is big enough to not feel like a small school and small enough to not feel like a huge school. You get to know pretty much everyone in your class and those bonds last a lifetime. It's not easy to attend Damien. The curriculum is one of the most challenging you'll find at the high school level.

All financial assistance is need-based. Financial assistance is available through the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) and through Damien High School's Spartan Grant programs. All financial aid is made for one year, therefore, you must reapply each year that you attend Damien High School. We understand that as families look for a school that is the best fit for them, they may discover that financing their child's education is a challenge.
Affiliated with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Damien High School promotes the intellectual, physical, and spiritual development of its students through instruction, fellowship, and prayer. Inspired by the exemplary commitment of St. Damien of Molokai, faculty and staff join parents, as primary educators, to prepare our young men for the demands of college and the challenges of adulthood.
The Guidance program at Damien is concerned with the academic/career, personal/social, and spiritual growth of each student. Emphasis is placed on academic preparation and course scheduling; decision-making; social development; and especially on the college search, selection, and application process.

I graduated from here in 1993 and at that time the teachers were younger guys that played stupid games rather than teach. One would put tacks on the seats of certain students thinking it was funny. I was able to get an A in one history class without needing to be present because the teacher lived in his car and was an environmentalist who gave extra credit when you brought in recyclable to him no limit on how much extra credit so I just brought In all my cans to him and took off. Don't know how it is now
