I don’t typically do reviews, however, after this experience I felt the need to do so. I needed to fix a few issues with my sprinkler system in preparation for new landscaping I was planning and gave Fishhawk Landscaping & Irrigation a call. Daniel Ruiz was the technician that worked my project. On 11 Jul, he arrived and was polite, seemed knowledgeable, and stated multiple times how much experience he had. I had requested an assessment of the overall sprinkler system but knew two zones were not coming on via the controller. He validated this and supposedly made some new connections/adjustments

On Aug 6, I paid $120 for FL&I to come out, look at my landscaping, give me an estimate, and provide a landscaping plan based on their recommendations. All seemed good at first - they are a busy company. I have asked for the plan 4 separate times with the promise of getting it on the first two times. Now i hear nothing from them.

Fishhawk Landscape & Irrigation really help me out today. He is very reasonable in his prices. I called him and he came right out. He was a great help to me because my sprinkler was shooting out water. Other people that I called wanted a lot money to fix one sprinkler. I would recommend him.

I had a positive experience with this company today. After calling other companies who never called back or never showed up I tried this one and they came promptly the next day. Daniel seems very skilled and experienced and was able to fix my 20 year old non-working sprinkler system to run perfectly. I will be using him again for other future projects.

We happened to see Daniel and his crew pruning our neighbor's large oak tree. They were doing such a good job, I walked over and asked if they could possibly prune our oak tree when they were done. Even though I didn't give them any notice, they came by later and pruned our oak tree. They did a great job and at a great price. I have attached a before and after picture. Judge for yourself...

Save yourself the trouble and headache, and just find another company... Unfortunately, this is an example of a small business not being able to manage their accounts receivables.
When we started with this company, they were never able to develop a great schedule so we never knew when they were coming to the property. Then we noticed that our lawn wasn't being mowed at all, but we were still being billed for services. After multiple contacts with the owner Daniel, we were told it would be taken care of. We are fairly new to this neighborhood so when we started to experience
problems with the lawn we weren't sure what to do. I googled and Fish Hawk Landscaping came up. We received a free inspection and quote for the services needed. The quote was very reasonable for the work that was required. Daniel and his team were very professional
and all our concerns were taken care of. We had sod laid , water pump repaired and trimming of a large Bird of Paradise We plan to use Daniel and his team for some future projects.

What an amazing experience. Called on a Saturday in a panic...I had a guieser shooting from my sprinkler head. Daniel answered promptly and assured me that it was no problem that he would add me to the schedule for the day...schew what a relief someone who can come out on a weekend and last minute. He called back to confirm that he would be to my home within 20 minutes and showed up on time. We walked the property together and he patiently listened as I discussed with him many of the quirks of my system. He offered options to correct the issues at a fair price and the job was completed quickly

This company has turned out to be a disappointment. I asked for a simple estimate to replace a water feature pump motor. I spoke with the owner and he said to contact him on Sunday with the specifics and he would get me an estimate on replacing the motor. Well, nine days, four unanswered phone calls and three unanswered text messages later, I still have no estimate. I would avoid dealing with this contractor unless you have plenty of time to waste on waiting. If you do decide to deal with this contractor, I would advise having a reliable backup plan.
