Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (called a DUII in Oregon, but also commonly referred to as DUI or DWI) is a criminal charge that almost anyone may face. If you drink and own a car, it is possible that you may be pulled over and charged with drunk driving. At the law firm of Andy Green, Attorney at Law, I understand that criminal charges are serious.
Just because you failed a Breathalyzer test in Oregon does not mean that the police can convict you of driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII or DUI). As your defense attorney, I will carefully investigate the Breathalyzer test to look for opportunities to challenge the results. I am Portland DUI attorney Andy Green.
In Oregon, you can be charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII or DUI) if you have drugs in your system such as marijuana or even legally prescribed medications. Due to zero-tolerance laws, a traffic stop in Oregon can lead to serious criminal charges if you have drugs in your system.
Many first-time DUII/DUI offenders in Oregon are eligible for the Oregon DUI diversion program, which is an agreement with the court that ultimately allows for the dismissal of your drunk driving charge. The diversion program lasts a year and requires the payment of fines, attendance at a victim's class, an alcohol evaluation and treatment.

Andy Green is an amazing lawyer and person. As an African American male dealing with America's judicial system I didn't know what to do or where to turn for help. Luckily I called Andy Green. I didn't actually end up needing his services but he was very honest with me on the phone. While other lawyers were shoving a sales pitch down my throat to get me to give them money, he was very understanding and agreed with me that I didn't need to retain representation quite yet. We were right as I didn't end up needing a lawyer but I was very impressed with his candor. It's a breath of fresh air to talk to a lawyer that actually has your best interests in mind. Andy is a highly qualified honest attorney. His clients welfare is his first priority and it was pretty obvious from day 1. He answered every email, text and call within the hour. If there was 10 stars I would give Andy just that. I recently found myself in the most stressful event of my life. Wondering if I needed an attorney to represent me. I called and Andy answered on the second ring. He was very understanding and willing to help. I set up an appointment with him and I'm glad I did. He treats you like you're a friend and will always answer your questions (Even when he's on the treadmill) on his own personal time. He's excellent at what he does.
