The curtain is about to rise on Plaza Theatrical's new professional Broadway Division as we open Nassau County's only professional theatre this fall! As we look forward to opening our doors in October, not only do I want to thank our loyal and supportive patrons but also, I want to personally thank SENATOR CHUCK SCHUMER who fought tirelessly to get the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) program through Congress this past December.

Thanks to Senator Schumer's efforts we were able to make it through this crisis! I look forward to all of you joining us as we launch Nassau County's Only Professional Theatre! Children's Musicals at The Showplace at the Bellmore Movies, 222 Pettit Ave, Bellmore, NY! With a dash of belief, a sprinkle of magic and a pinch of true love, Cinderella's tale comes to life!

Extremely disappointed. The show (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) was distastrous. The sound was horrible, microphones were staticky, actors were stumbling on their lines, the recording of the music/sound effects was not lined up correctly with their parts and there was a cast of about six people; just to touch on some of it. I was hoping because they were performing at a reputable theater (Wellmont in Montclair) that it would be good, but never again.

I think the price is right. I think that The performances have the the look of a community theater production. I do believe that the performers should have more commitment when performing there roles. At times it seems certain performers were going through the motions and not all together present. Itcertain that after the performance the performers pride themselves on being extremely professional actors a little humility would go along way especially when greeting special needs. I was very surprised how brusque several of the actors treated these children with moderate to severe disabilities.

The Charlie brown Christmas show at Westbury Music fair last night was horrible! ! Bland, boring, static, no pizzazz, and missing more than half a cast!! Never again!
