Johnson's Custom Cakes strives to provide custom, one-of-a-kind cakes for every client. Our passion is to produce breathtaking cakes and desserts that will be remembered for years to come. We have competed on Food Network in the Premiere Episode of Cake Wars and had one of our cakes seen on TLC's Four Weddings.
We have also been published in multiple local and national magazines and blogs, including Style Me Pretty, Borrowed & Blue, Wellington Magazine and The Knot. Jennifer Johnson has been making cakes all of her life. Her passion for cake decorating started as a young girl watching her grandmother make wedding cakes.

Yumi is the absolute sweetest! She is very responsive and ensures that she makes exactly what you want. We had to postpone our wedding by a year- initially we had a different cake vendor and we were not thrilled by it. We met with Yumi a year later and we struggled to pick a flavor because ALL of her cakes are so good! Every single one of our guests thought the cake was deliscious and gorgeous!! I literally can't say enough wonderful things about Yumi and Johnson's Custom Cakes!! She is just the best!!! Thank you for making our dream cake ♡

Yumi and her team are amazing! They were very diligent and responsive to our needs. They even went above and beyond to anticipate our needs, especially after we went way over-budget for our wedding. We truly loved the entire experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Johnson's Custom Cakes to anyone. This won't be my last time that I work with them.

I walked into Johnson custom cakes on 7/27/21 to order 2 cakes for a 95th birthday and a 90th birthday celebration. After deciding on the cakes with not much help from the person working there I was told that the owner Yumi wasn't in but would call me later with the cost. I waited until the next afternoon and called to speak to Yumi and was told Yumi was on the phone and would call me right back. It is now a week later and have not heard from them. There are so many businesses struggling you would think they would want the business. I would NEVER recommend Johnson custom cakes!! I ordered

Yumi, the owner, was excellent since the first day I called to find information about their services. I took a picture of the design I wanted for my daughter's first communion cake, and she did awesomely. Not only was the cake perfect, but it also had a great flavor. Our guests loved it as much as we did. We picked red velvet for one floor and rum cake on the second floor. Both were very moist, and with great flavor. She also helps us to choose the desserts for the main table. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend this place if you have an event coming up and want to impress your guests.

The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious! We chose funfetti and red velvet. I am not normally a fan of red velvet, but it was so good! We had a nautical themed wedding and when we met with Ashley the first time she drew out the cake. She had such a vision for the cake right away. Rope (icing) , ribbon (icing), a compass rose, an anchor and our initials. Such an art and talent. I would definitely use them again!

I ordered our wedding cake here last minute and they made it work! Amazing Delicious Beautiful Cake! Plus we got our cupcakes done here also and everyone loved them! They were also reasonably priced and had wonderful customer service. Our rose pink ombre cake made a small outdoor wedding glamorous and elegant. Thank you so much !!

Picked up a cake tasting for $35. It came with 10 different flavors. Great way to try different options for our upcoming wedding. If you get your cake through them, they credit you back the $35. The Cake itself was not very moist but the frosting add the moisture and is very good. Our favorite was the red velvet.

Johnson's Cakes went above and beyond the call of duty. My fiancé and I use them for our wedding and we're extremely satisfied with the cake, grooms cake and the macaroons. The cakes were absolutely beautiful and delicious. That alone is a positive review but I wanted to share that our wedding topper was lost during the breakdown of the ceremony. My wife and I return from our honeymoon to find that our family had not collected our topper. Feeling bad for my wife's disappointment I called Ashley at Johnson's Cakes to ask if there was anyway they could help me with a replacement

I live in VA and had my surprise wedding in WPB and I have to say that Johnson's Custom Cakes was great to work with. I contacted several bakeries and I'm glad that I chose this business. They were not the lowest quoted but their customer service was what won me over. Denia was wonderful in getting back to me in a timely manner and worked with me on what I envisioned. I ordered a tiered cake and a custom grooms cake. Flavors were delicious, they arrived earlier than expected. We had a mishap with our grooms cake but Jennifer took care of everything and we're really appreciative

After we told Jennifer about our wedding, she showed us various ideas that she thought would work well. We tried several different kinds of cake and settled on two for our wedding cake.

What can I say Johnson's custom cakes did an AMAZING,AMAZING, AMAZING JOB on my baby shower cake. It not only looked beautiful it tasted amazing. We had fun fetti on the top layer and raspberry and apricot on the bottom. Everyone enjoyed the cake tremendously. This is definitely the place to get your cake. You will not be let down. Ok, so now that the party is over it's time to give credit where credit is due. Kudos to Jennifer for a phenomenal job on my daughter's Sweet 16 birthday cake. The absolute best cake I've tasted--bar none. There has been so many compliments and I've given so many referrals I've lost count; and it's only been 3 days since the party. The cake was exactly what my daughter envisioned. I can't thank you all enough for a job well done.

Jennifer Johnson did not follow through with anything that she said she was going to do on time, and kept making lame excuses as to why things weren't getting done; so we ended up asking for a refund. She said she would give us our money back, but again, MORE excuses as to why we weren't receiving our money when she said we would have it.
We finally ended up filing a dispute with our bank (which we won, thankfully), but I doubt we would have ever gotten our money back willingly from her. Don't waste your $ or your time here, the cake we sampled at our tasting was nothing special

It was a Rocky start getting in contact and information handling and a lot of miscommunication, when I say BE VERY SPECIFIC and make sure you get answers to all of your questions , Do NOT assume anything because they WILL , mess up your day when it's time to pick it up. In the end the job was done and the cake came out better than expected. I'm not sure if I'll be returning anymore because I had recommended a friend and she went through the same complications. Hopefully they change their way of communicating & doing business.

AMAZING!!!! Jen has such a great personality and you can really feel how passionate she is for her work and clients! Johnson's custom cakes entire team really takes the time to understand what your vision is and guides you into picking out your dream cake and desserts! The dessert table for my bridal shower is all my guests could talk about, it not only looked spectacular but tasted even better!!!! Cant wait for my wedding cake in a month!!!

This was my first time ordering from Johnson's Custom Cakes, and boy was I pleased! I sent them a picture of a corona extra cake that my husband wanted for his 40th birthday and they did AMAZING!!! The cake was delicious too! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to make their special and yummy!
