I was in a pinch and need my blinds repaired, I called several places only to be told that this break was very hard to fix and either they couldn’t do the repair or that they couldn’t fit me in. When I called Matt’s Shutters and spoke with Matt, I found him to be attentive and knowledgeable. He took my information and asked me for some pictures and then sent the request on to his son, Ali, who runs the business with his dad. He called me back promptly and was able to help me get my blind repaired in time. Will definitely use Matt’s Shutters again and would be glad to give my highest recommendation

I recently moved to Dallas from Seattle and bought a house in Addison that had no window treatments. I saw all the great reviews on Yelp for Matt's Shutters and within a couple of days, Ali came over to take measurements and showed me my options. We have had Ali come out twice now to replace/install some plantation shutters inside our home. He came out to do a thorough walk through of each of the projects and give us a quote. He is very thorough and both times when he showed up with the final product it was cut perfectly (a miracle given none of the window frames in our home are square) and looked fantastic. We wish we had this good of an experience with every contractor who comes to our house!

I had a great experience with Ali and his company! Him and his team do great quality work. He came prepared for his consultation with many examples for us to choose from and wasn't a pushy salesman. After trying to get the salesperson/installer from another company here for quite some time for a repair of what they sold us, I finally found Matt's Shutters & More. Matt was more than happy to schedule us for a small repair job. His son came out and solved our months-long problem in 10 minutes...had the parts, the tools and the vacuum for cleanup! Just when I thought customer service was dead I came across Matt's Shutters & More. I called Matt and Ali was sent out to look at what I thought was a small repair job. (several broken from dogs over the years) Ali took a single shutter to measure and match the paint and came back in a week or so. Not only did he match the paint perfectly, to the point we can't even tell which ones were replaced, but he took the time to lubricate ALL of the blinds on the front of the house. He also left with me 3 additional shutters that he had made when matching the paint, and a clearly labeled

Just about the nicest guys on the planet! I had FIVE quotes from local competitors and they were all thousands of dollars more than Ali's quote.
Ali was courteous and professional at our first meeting, was super responsive and kept us informed during the build process, and the day of the installation went off so smoothly it was sort of insane! His installers were so kind and friendly and we had the best conversations.
The product is great quality and the install was perfect.
I literally can not recommend Matt's Shutters enough! I snagged a stack of business cards in order to hand them

Matt's Shutters is far and away one of the best vendors I have come across for my home. We initially had a mini blind that needed repair. Ali came out, on time, and was able to take care of the issue. He mentioned that they also did shutters if we ever wanted to replace the blinds. Food for thought. After a few months one of the blinds was acting up again and we called Ali. He did his best to make it work at no charge, but we would need to think about a replacement. Just had a great experience with Matt's! I needed the string repaired on my mini blinds that controls the lowering and raising for the blinds. They came out the same day and fixed it for me and were VERY reasonable. Highly Recommend. I'll definitely be calling them in the future for my window covering needs.

We needed multiple faux wood blinds repaired. Matt came out once to measure, followed up afterwards and scheduled a time which was convenient to install.
He did a great job matching the replacement slates and installing. I would highly recommend. I wish I had a picture to show the before to show how good the after looks. After years of living with broken slates from kids and animals playing, I am so happy to have my blinds repaired.

I wanted a modern look and something discreet for my window coverings. Ali recommended a roller shade with a metal fascia top and I fell in love with it. It is such a clean and contemporary look, and coordinates extremely well with my house. I got shades for my master bath and bedroom and could not be happier with how it turned out. I have a pond view and wanted to keep that unobstructed

I called Matt to inquire about shutter repair. He and his son came out that afternoon and within 45 minutes, almost thirty louvers on my plantation shutters were repaired. Matt is very friendly and courteous; he was a pleasure to meet and do business with. I will definitely look to him for any future shutters/outdoor shade needs! They even came out a second time and put a lot of time and effort into making a few of the repairs stronger where the staples had stripped out the hole too much for them to stay put.

I could not be happier with Matt's service. A+++ . He is a true professional at what he does. I had 24 blinds that needed to be installed in a new home. His turnaround time was only a couple days including coming on the weekend for a quote. He got everything installed within a couple hours and everything looks great. He is not pushy and will not try to up-sell you. He is honest and a kind person. I usually do not give Yelp reviews unless it is really needed and I really needed to leave this review for him.

Matt is the man. He's super friendly and feels like family. We needed some blinds installed along with custom arches that were difficult to cover, but he made it easy.
Called him on Thursday, he was there the day after taking measurements, and installed everything about a week later.
Installation was so quick and efficient- he did a solid job installing the blinds and custom cut the arch-tops on site- the wooden appliqués on the arches were a nice touch as well. He left the house clean and spotless.
