If you are looking for a jiu jitsu academy in North county SD then do yourself a favor and try out CSG360! I've trained here for 1.5 years. The owner/professor Charlie is a phenomenal instructor whether you are 5 or 55 years old. The vibe is very relaxed and informal, but make no mistake the crew here trains hard. The atmosphere is very open and encouraging for all levels of BJJ practicioners and there are classes for a variety of skill levels. If your looking to learn Jiu Jitsu by yourself, as a family or want to continue your training, come in and see this place in person. On Yelp you undoubtedly can read good reviews on most Jiu Jitsu places you look up. I can write about it and try to give you a feeling for how it is, but you won't see it till you come in. This place is something special and you'll sense it in person. From the Professor down to the Coaches you'll see that these are good hearted people that are great with kids and are dedicated to learning and teaching. They say apples don't fall far from the tree

Very laid back environment with a lot of tough rolls, nothing but happy inviting environment with people who actually care and want to see each other grow in to a better practitioner and person. CSG 360 has been a haven for my littles. They love and look forward to class as many times as possible in the week. The hours work very well with our schedule as kids class is Tues thru Thurs at 5pm and Saturday at 10am. I have to admit my littles being only 4 and 5 I did at first think they were too young but as soon as they understood what they were learning each class they began to confidently show how their growth and also how strong they are due to the intense super fun work outs! We will be with CSG 360 for as long as kids are enjoying it. So far I see them enjoying it for years to come

I randomly dropped in on a Friday night to check this place out. Although it was an open mat, I was immediately welcomed by a dude in dreadlocks named Poe. He made me feel at home and even took a good 30 min to personally show me some techniques. The same can be said for the others that were rolling. They all showed professionalism and had great attitudes

I joined CSG 360 a year ago. I was shocked on how fast I felt so warm and welcome at the academy .Military friendly ,children friendly. My husband and I have moved and re moved and have trained several places.Professor Charlie is full of knowledge and a caring person,his students are family to him,which makes a huge difference when you train. The students and enviroment is 110% amazing ..

Professor Charlie runs an excellent program, he cares deeply about his students, if you knew the back story and all he’s gone through to get here... this is the only place to train in Oceanside when it comes to jiu jitsu!!! This man loves teaching and gives all he had to everyone that walks through his doors... go check them out, I promise you won’t be dissapointed

I think so greatly of CSG 360 it's so much more than just taking a martial arts class. It's truly a family friendly environment where the students, coaches, and professors truly care about each other. My four kids (three daughters and one son) and I have been training with Professor Charlie for almost 2 years. We are so grateful for a place where we learn every time we train, we are pushed physically, and there is such a good team learning environment. Very often my kids will ask a technical question regarding certain scenarios, and Charlie answers all of them enthusiastically while giving the jiu jitsu principle behind the answer.
