When you buy a machine at South Portland Sewing Centre you get more than a sewing machine, you get value! With each purchase of an new elna, BERNINA, Necchi, and select Juki and Singer machines you are entitled to free instruction on basic machine operations. Call to schedule an appointment for a one-on-one lesson.
When visiting our shop you will find new and pre-owned sewing machines, sergers, furniture, chairs, and carrying cases. We have presser feet, needles, thread, bobbins, scissors, and many more notions to equip your machines and sewing room. You might be able to get that hard-to-find part you've been looking for!

Laura the owner always bends over backwards to help us out patching our cuts & is always at the local dealership functions to set folks up with patching, repairing ECT, today she dropped everything to help me repair an old leather Harley windshield pouch, top notch job and finished while I waited in a few minutes! She knows her trade for sure! Customer for life!

What a great little shop they have here. I took two Singers down to be worked on Saturday. One should be no problem, the other may or may not be fixable, but they assured me they will try! Excellent folks in the service department with many years of experience and vast knowledge of Singer sewing machines. Easy to find just below the Casco Bay Bridge crossing and a couple of short streets over. Google can lead you right to their front door. If you need a new machine they have several on display, and if you need repairs or just a tune up they can certainly help you out.
