Very friendly staff, went here cause I was ordering pizza from Giordano's and they are connected all throughout the building. Everything was fairly good, would recommend going here if other Giordano's are lacking in staff or whatever that might stop u from eating elsewhere. Didn't really order any beer but it's probably at least decent-good if the service is any indication of how they do. They also have plenty of tvs to watch any sports event that might be on.

We just had a 90th birthday celebration with family and friends for our Irish grandma and it was wonderful! We were able to create an Old Ireland theme for her. Gina was wonderful to work with. She has a great positive attitude, so accommodating, willing to do anything to make sure you have the experience you are looking for. She is incredibly flexible and supportive and so enjoyable to work with. The food was great and everyone had a great time!

Came in to have food and a drink with a friend before we headed to the airport. Walked in and there was no employees to be found. They had 1 table seated outside and a handful of people inside. I finally found an employee out on the patio and asked if we could sit outside. She nodded yes so we sat down on the patio. 10 minutes later we were still sitting there, hadn't been approached, no menus, not even waters so we got up and went to Tavern on the Point across the street. Nonexistent service here.

Great bar, tons of beer on draft and some of them are very unique. I think around 20 beers on draft, so that's a solid line up. The also have specialty draughts in which they mix couple of the beers on draft, which is a cool concept.
The food was also great. I got the fire wings and my friend got the burger. They give you as many fries as five guys, and their patty is 9 oz over the regular 8 oz., they be flexing. My friend said the burger was good. The wings I had were good, I got it with blue cheese but I didn't see much blue cheese in there. Either way or was fine, since it was a great

How perfect that our waitress was named Caley? So perfect for an Irish bar/restaurant! She was so great at her job and made our night!!
The food was fast and fresh. They had a lot of fun and interesting drinks too. The other waitress Ariana was so helpful when it got busy. It was so great to see such good teamwork. I'll go back and sit on the outdoor patio for sure and for the live music nights!! Thanks!!

I have been coming here for several years. Arrived Sun. about 5:30 P.M. with my son. Ordered a Guinness, the best in the city. Appetizers(reuben rolls) and chopped salad were fantastic. Entree, Pot Roast was absolutely incredible. I would go back just for that. Sox game as well as the Cubs game were on the televisions as well as great music. Service was fast and with a smile. Can't wait to go back.

Back again today to enjoy the 1st day for outdoor dining in Edison Park just after 3pm. We found that their host stand attended wearing a mask greeted us and helped us choose a table on the edge of the outdoor seating with our dog.
Our server was fantastic and while wearing a mask we didn't didn't find it uncomfortable to sit outside with the closest table to us was over 6 ft away.
The food was excellent and nice that they partnered with que onda! next door, and offered a 2 sided paper menu with a full menu from Curragh and que onda.

This place used to be so good. Have been there several times, just now writing my review since I'm a little more on it.
The good, the bad, and the ugly:-
The good: Fish and chips. Tasty meaty fish, crispy battered and not greasy. CHIPS... as in thick cut fries. So many places get it so wrong and serve potato chips with fish... this is possibly the best I've had stateside. Definitely their best dish. (Am British, so I know my fish n chips)
The bad: Everyone else's meal. Ranging from an ok turkey burger, to a tasteless veggie burger, to an Irish bacon burger with the SMALLEST rasher

This a great venue to host a private gathering or to just visit and have a good drink and solid meal. It is a pretty popular spot in Edison Park, so it can get quite busy and service can be a little slow as a result. However, if you have the time to spend and don't mind a bit of a lag, you'll still have a nice time. I recommend getting any dish that features their corned beef.

Friendly pub with an adventurous menu. In the middle of Edison Park, among Italian, French, Mexican and seafood restaurants is a culinary gem not to be missed. I’ve dined in Ireland and this restaurant exceeded my memories of those restaurants. We were served by Agnes who was very attentive and professional. She helped with great suggestions from the menu that is true to Ireland but with some exciting culinary options. Highly recommended!

Well, it is the first Irish pub I been to in Chicago.
Had the Dublin burger and it was delicious. Couldn't taste the ham or Irish bacon, but never the less a good burger. Celtic spurs were a nice appetizer. Potato skin, bacon, cheese, and ranch. Guinness beer to wash it down. A cozy design with a simple menu.

THE HOST WITH THE MOST
This Irish pub in Edison Park has dozens of beer taps to go along with great food and weekly live trivia.
Of the handful of times I've been to this Curragh -- not to be confused with similar locations in Skokie and Glenview -- all but one were as a host for a 3rd party trivia sponsor. Parking is very easy to find either along NW Highway or a nearby lot for free.
Staff has been very friendly across multiple visits, especially the bartenders who have nearly always comped me a beer during nights that I'm on the mic. Their selection of draft beers is impressive

Stopped by on a whim, I had a taste for a Harp and I tried the fish and chips with my best friend
(Buddy) I had called a head and asked if I could bring my dog (to the patio) after we got seated the manager came out and met my dog and told me sometimes he prefers them (dogs) more than the humans, the Harp was nice and cold on a warm day and the fish and chips were hot and tasty the server was very busy but checked in on us often and made sure buddy had water

If you enjoy quality hospital food, war rations, or scavenging back alley dumpsters for chewed-up apple cores, then Curragh's is the place to go.
Let's start with the food: The buffet-style setup is absolutely atrocious: the Benedicts were dryer than happy hour at the Betty Ford Center (stale English muffins, lacking in Hollandaise) and the bacon was so undercooked that when you took a bite you could still hear the pig squealing. Finally, the coffee, eggs, potatoes and tilapia were all so bland that drywall could be considered a spicier alternative. I have never been so disappointed
